If all else fails, I grab a bowl of ice and snack on that during my studies.

Yes, my sister got me into eating crushed ice. She's so addicted to it that she takes a large cup of ice into even the shower with her. Ice is perfect to because it raises metabolism and reduces hunger. Our dentist never commented on it but then again her also missed my purging.

i absolutely love chewing ice. especially those white colored cubes that are not too dense and full of air n when you bite down on them you can feel the ice being compacted together

Yes! I love this so much. Do you have any idea how to get the ice like that? All the ice I make goes rock hard and clear. It goes softer if I add sugar but the sugar spoils the taste of the ice

Yes but I don't have Pica. It's part of my anorexia as I only eat a ton of it when I'm restricting. Once in a while I will eat ice cubes from my glass just because I like them but that was before my ED developed.

I love ice! I used to go up to my friends when I was little and ask if they wanted to eat some ice. They'd look at me like I was crazy. I just thought it was normal. I still do it, though.

OMG I offer people ice to! For a while I just thought it was a nice normal gesture. I stopped offering it recently as now people reply with "Ice eating means you've been restricting. Sit down please. It's time to eat food." So now I hide my ice-eating as people try to feed me if they notice.

The absolute best ice comes from sonic. I always get the 0 cal sweet green tea in the route 44 size. I quickly suck that down then grab a spoon to eat the incredible ice. It's the little pebbles ice.

I used to do this all the time (anemic).

I had to stop even though I crave it because my teeth are so fucked up from it. It literally hurts now.

omg I didn't realise this was so common. I could eat trays and trays full of it all day every day, if only my teeth weren't so sensitive now though.

The best ice I think is from subways omg its small ice cubes that just crunch so beautifully between your teeth. and they are also white ice not clear don't know how it turns out like that but amazing. I love small ice cubes little cracks of it omg I wanna leave this library and studying and go home to my big bag of ice

I love eating ice.I never really thought of it as weird until I told my doctor and he made me go to the lab to be blood tested.
