Hey peeps!   :).

SO, I've been getting desperate to lose weight lately.
I'm very unhappy with my body, as I've gained  50 pounds since starting university 6 years ago. 

I've binged & purged off & on, but it's really started to take a toll on my body, and I think I'd be better off sticking to the ABC diet for 8 weeks than continuing on this way.

HOWEVER, I'm gunna need some peeps to help keep me on track - hence this accountability thread   :) .
I'm hoping that some of you guys will either like to start with me on this ABC journey, starting TODAYJan. 6th (2020),
or that there's someone out there who will check in here daily with me to help keep me accountable!

 

Anyone is welcome to join along with me & post here as well!
All kinds of posts welcome; daily weigh-ins, selfies, complaints, daily food pics, intake records, records of how you've felt each day, helpful tips (or advice/questions), starting weight, goals, your inspirations, etc. - whatever you want!

I like the routine of logging in here each day to update. I find it helps me stay accountable knowing I have to post here. :)

Day 1: 500 cal

Came in at 488 calories today.
Wasn’t hungry at all much during the day, but I worked an evening shift (from 4pm to midnight), and I found I was hungry af the whole time. It’s so difficult to not eat at work, but I managed. Drinking water (with mio flavouring) helped..

I’m hoping this will become much less of a struggle as the days go on and my stomach gets used to eating less.
I’ve been pretty lethargic today, so I’ll start drinking a sugar free monster energy drink in the mornings again, and see if I can get in a half decent work out every other day (at least).

Weighed in at 180.4 this morning, so down 0.6 lbs.
Not as much as I was hoping, so I really need to get back into working out!
I’m working a 12 hr day shift today; 8am-8pm, so once I’m home I’ll try to hop on the elliptical.

My boyfriend made me take lunch to work today. He made wraps that include spinach, hummus, corn, and falafel (we are vegetarian), so hopefully they aren’t too many calories.

I ate 500 cals yesterday but then I binged later that night. I also ran a few miles which burned 550 calories and I did a yoga class. This morning my weight was at 153.2 which is so sad because 2 months ago it was 130. Today I’m gonna try rly hard to make it through!! Keep my in ur prayers lol

It’s SO damn hard not to binge!! A patient’s family member just gave us a huge box of cookies that look amazing and I’m having to try SO hard to not go at them! I don’t want to go back to binging & purging.

Day 3: 300 cals

Weighed in this morning @ 179.2 lbs (down 1.2 lbs from yesterday; down 1.8 lbs from Day 1).

I’m pretty happy with being down 1.2lbs since yesterday, buuuut I still find it so fucking hard to believe how I’m this big. It seems like just yesterday I was 150lbs and felt absolutely disgusted with myself for letting myself get THAT big... and now I’m 30lbs over that?! Wtf.

I took before photos on Day 1, and I’m more than mortified looking at them. I think I’m actually in denial, to be honest. I just can’t believe I’m so ducking big. Ahhhh.

Anyway, plan for today:

Made myself get up & shower this AM. Not always the easiest thing to do with low energy & depression. I’m working towards being able to get up in the AM and do cardio before my shifts. I’m working another 12 hour shift at the hospital today, so it’ll be easy to keep my intake low in the respect that my boyfriends can’t monitor my intake. I’m only supposed to have 300 calories today, and it’s 1pm here and I’ve had 1 sugar free monster energy drink (10 cal) & one wrap (described above) (220 cal), so 230 cal already. Oops.
Il save the other 70 cal for when I go home, so I can eat at least something infront of the guys to keep them from worrying.

I still haven’t been able to do much in the realm of exercising though, which is shit. I don’t know if I should up my intake of caffeine or what, because my energy levels have just been to low to get up before a 12 hour shift and workout, or go home after a 12 hour shift and work out. I’ll 100% be making myself work out on my next day off though in a couple days.

I'm having a hard time. I'm on vacation with my boyfriend and he likes to eat out for dinner. I did SO good yesterday and then I binged on dinner and felt like such a failure. I need to do better today 😔

Day 4: 400 cals

I weighed in this morning @ 178.4 lbs, which is down 0.8 lbs from yesterday, and down 2.6 lbs from Day 1.

I was EXHAUSTED yesterday. I got home from work @8:30pm and got straight into bed; watching YouTube videos until I went to sleep around 11pm. That’s not at all like me. I have a feeling my body is going through food & sugar withdrawals for sure.

Woke up this morning still tired, but dragged myself into the hospital for another 12 hour shift again today. It’s 10:20am here now, and I’m actually not feeling too, too bad. I take 300mg of wellbutrin XL in the mornings, and I think that may have kickstarted my energy levels a little. I found the 300 cals yesterday to be difficult, but I’m hopeful that the 400 cals today will be a little better. I’m actually feeling a little nauseous just thinking about eating at the moment.. which is a good thing I guess!

I weighed in this morning @ 177.2 lbs, which is down 1.2 lbs from yesterday, and down 3.8 lbs from Day 1.

 

Alllllmost down 4 lbs in 4 days. That's pretty okay, I think.

 

​It'll definitely be hard to stick to the diet this weekend, but I'm determined. I'm not working again until Tuesday, but I'll just have to find a way to keep my boyfriends & girlfriend from seeing me only hardly eating. I feel a little guilty lying about eating to them everyday, though...

So, today is Day 7: 300 cals

HOWEVER, I sincerely, royally fucked up yesterday, so I won’t be weighing myself this morning. Since I binged, it’ll be way too detrimental to my mental health to see the weight go up again. I’m trying not to beat myself up too much, but FUCK - I really hate myself sometimes.

So, instead of 300 cals today, I will be doing a water fast. I will, however, probably have one sugar free monster energy drink though, which is 10 cals, just to stay sane. Haha

Anyways... disappointed in myself, but that’s it. I’ll get back on schedule tomorrow.

Don't feel discouraged! I find super low cal days I'm actually more prone to binge! Are you not feeling nauseous from not eating much? I'm currently 20 hours into my fast and already don't feel well so I doubt I'll go much longer! Hope you're doing alright today :)
