1 week ago I found out I was pregnant. I've married in July and we had quit birth control. So it's a planned baby and I need to take responsibility now and be better for the baby. I can lose it all afterwards. I want to stay accountable in here.

Pre-pregnancy my intake was 600-800ish on weekdays and 1200-1400 if I had social events at weekends. Main goal was to stay <1000 weekly average or at least at a daily deficit of - 1000.

For my deficit I usually workout 14hrs a week. (running, dancing (I teach by myself and am a professional dancer) and Pilates.)

Usually I c&s 200cal a day and ate around 600. What made a total goal of 800 (on weekdays). C&s was my successful binge prevention as I'm a food addict in an anorexic dress.

I'm 5'9 and my last weigh in was 56kg. (HW was 78kg. Had lost it in 4 months and kept it down for 2 yrs). I was diagnosed AN-R with 16yrs and had a few recoveries and relapses. Currently in a relapse.

I've done 2 preggo tests and both were positive. Probably 4th/5th week. First doc appt is on 27th Jan. I won't continue to weigh in because it's a trigger. Will ask my doc to not tell me my weight until the end.

I immediately upped my intake to 1200 daily goal and updated my apps so that they don't tell me I failed when I overstep 1000. It's hard to get to 1200. This week I was sometimes only at 850 but yesterday 1300ish.

My average for this week is at 1043 currently.

We informed our families yesterday. Now let's hope that the doc has good news on 27th. I'm Hella afraid of this appointment.

Unfortunately I still c&s because my food addiction is unbeaten. But I do swallow healthy foods like homemade veggie soups, salads, homemade caulicrust pizza, fish filets, veggies etc. I only c&s junk food or sweets to satisfy my cravings.

I fucked up my metabolism and therefore no bms without laxing. Even not when I wait 2 weeks. But my senna tea is to strong. I immediately stopped that and asked at my pharmacy what I can take while preggo. Usually nothing but senna tea works. They gave me dulcolax as it's impact doesn't affect the gut but is released mainly in the colon. Will try to use it as less as possible. Not proud of it but no pooping for 2 weeks can't be healthy neither.

I hope that this accountability will help me to get through this challenging 9 months. My goal switched from weightloss to gaining the least necessary amount for a healthy baby and to not weigh throuought the whole time because it shouldn't be about weight now.

Please wish me luck. Any ideas and support welcome! I'll keep you posted

There's a forum for accountability (The South Beach). By posting it here, you're vulnerable to trolls (who likes to target girls in a relationship)

I wouldn't use dulcolax, weird the pharmacy suggested that

The best thing to take when pregnant n can't shit is lactulose, it's an osmotic laxative I think so unlike dulcolax (a stimulant) it can actually help regulate your pooping

Thx. Lactose didn't work for me even when I took it for 3 weeks twice daily. It's not that my poop is too hard or too dry. It's the problem that since my cancerous tumor my colon movement stopped working. Will doublecheck with my doc.

I c&s'ed a lot yesterday but ate a tomato soup (actually a sauce) and 2L raspberry water and cherry tomatos. Still 1222ish intake all in.

Counted more than 10% for c&s bc I swallowed some last bites.37d85dfdbaa8253086c8a9796e126881.jpg

Been at 800-900ish for the last days. I'm bloated af. Can't stomach much food. No nausea but a big pressure on my tummy from the inside.

Don't want to be rude but feels like a fart that wouldn't come out.

I'm very uncomfy these days and feel so fat already.

Holding up my running & dancing.

Update:

Two bras are already too small. In 7th week wtf.

Feel fat af today. Bones disappear. Arms look huge . It'll be hard to just ignore it. It's hard to see that happening with such a less intake and so much workouts. I don't want to complain. With the baby wish is coming true. But today I only want to cry

Studying my ass off today for semester exams. Hopefully can go to gym later too.

Came around breakkie. Hubby believes I breakfast during studying in our homeoffice room. Good chance to c&s breakkie and save cals.

BTW the Homeoffice room will become baby's room.

Congrats on getting married and having a baby! I myself have been looking into how many calories I should be eating as someone who is overweight and pregnant. I've read a minimum of 1500 calories a day is fine for me. With your low BMI, I would be honest with your doctor, and make sure 1200 is enough? I would be curious to hear what your doctor had to say? I am not judging you, but only mention it in terms of thinking of what is best for your baby? In any regard, I wish you the best on your pregnancy journey! Congrats again!

Mood went constantly down during the last few days. My tummy already feels like it's tearring apart. Is that normal for 7th week? I had a train journey yesterday which I'm used to, but after a few hrs I didn't know how to sit anymore.

3rd bra doesn't fit anymore. I feel it's all going too fast. I feel like 5th months while I'm not even in 3rd.

My bloating and full feeling and huge tummy avoids me being hungry at all. I feel stuffed all the time. How comes?

In 2 days is my next doc appointment.

I'll change my rules bc obviously my current strategy doesn't work out without gaining like hell. Means from now:

- only one joy c&s session with junk food a day
- others need to be fruit only
- only coffee/tea before 1pm
- if I have normal food it needs to be healthy. Veggies, soups, fish
- no meals if nobody sees
- 5hrs at least in between so no constant insulin spikes
- no more meals than pictures that fit into my SHYE app
- I'll stop stocking up pastries and sweets
- every meal must be under 100cal aside from my main meal.

I really want to come closer to Holly Elizabeth's look. I've worked too hard to get fat even before the end of 3rd trimester. I already look like her when she was 9th month. Total fail.

2nd scan today. Baby is OK. 1.6cm. Arms begin to grow.

I've decided to c&s less and go to more nutrient stuff.

Here's my haul.

Soups, broth incl meat, babyfood, veggies, lactose for digestion. Sandwich to c/s.

I told hubby that I had asked the doctor to not weigh me until the end of pregnancy and I thought that he would be relieved to hear but his reaction was kind of strange really.

Seemed like he found it disordered and weired. I guess it went into the wrong direction. I think he rather assumes that I want to hide my weight from my doctor and that he thinks I'm trying to lose weight. I could kill me rn.

When he went to work 5min later he said: I'd be happy to see some cake when I come home. Yeh... Day pretty much screwed.

Now that I've bought all that soups and healthy stuff he'll even be more suspicious. That was dumb of me. I just wanted to be open...

You're welcome. I think it's wonderful that you are doing your best. I'm sure when you're used to eating 800 calories a day, 1200 or more does seems like a lot? I commend you for trying. From your perspective, I'm sure it's a challenge, but your lil boo will be worth it. I actually told my midwife I wanted my blood checked to make sure my nutrients where adequate because of being I'll with morning sickness. If that makes it easier to talk about do whatever works to get the same answer. Maybe have then check throughout the pregnancy to be sure? I'm curious to learn what your results are? Maybe I'm a worrying too much about not getting enough calories..? Keep up the good work.
