I am told constantly that I'm gorgeous. I get looks from guys all the time. Seriously,a famous guy from another country private mesages me and tells me I'm pretty But I don't see it. Heck, I'm 5'6" and 161lbs. I hear anorexics have a really low view of themselves. But I don't understand why I do. I just can't see that I'm pretty. Does anyone else deal with this? I feel like I should love all the compliments so much that I should never think about my weight really.

I feel this. I've been told many a time that I'm attractive. I've been told that I'm gorgeous even. I tend to think I look sort of odd, or... distorted? Sometimes for a moment I'll think "hey, I look alright," but then it disappears and I'm back to thinking I'm undesirable.

Whatever that feeling stems from for you, I hope you get to see it eventually. <3

I get told I’m gorgeous/pretty/beautiful/etc... all the time. However it’s from drunk guys while I’m bartending so I never believe it.

No, I rarely get compliments. And if I do it is from a guy who has a big butt fetish since I am fat and you can tell they only want sex which is a turn off.

My stats are...
Height: 5’8
Starting Weight: 282 lbs.
Current Weight: 271.4 lbs. 11/28/2020 @ 43 inch waist Size 24 / 2x

Goal Weight: 160 lbs.

Weightloss Rewards:

260: new black sexy bras

250: new black sexy panties

240: buy ballet barre

230: shop old "skinny" clothes in my closet

220: create a fashion look-book

210: sort and donate unwanted jewelry in my closet

200: buy some new perfume
My current challenge: International Dance Day challenge for Thursday, April 29, 2021. My goal is to have a more flexible and graceful ballet type of body during the winter time and possible 2nd Covid-19 lockdown in the United States. Also, I will be incorporating run/walking outdoors as well as much as I can as long as it isn't extreme freezing and snowy weather.

Diet plan:  I don't want to focus on any particular diet at the moment, but I know for sure I will mostly eat two meals a day, because that is all my body wants: breakfast and a late lunch/early dinner. Also I attempt to eat nothing but whole, non-processed foods. I will make an effort to cook and bake more, which will force me to only eat from home mostly. Also, carry flavored water and a little bag of mix nuts to consume when away from home in order to avoid fast food places.

The link is here: https://www.myproana...etc/?p=73534693

This is my REALISTIC ideal body type, from being morbidly obese, for International Dance Day, on Thursday, April 29, 2021 (5 months challenge): Basically, I have no choice to but to be thick in the hips and thighs, but I want to get rid of my protruding, hanging belly in order to look like this girl. Once I reach this body type goal, then I find another body type I can try to attain.

I'm just average looking, and honestly, it bothers me a lot
I have a competitive nature, so not being beautiful, and knowing it is the most important characteristic for a woman (in the sense that, at least on first sight, that's what everyone notice and value on you) makes me sad
Having much better looking sisters and knowing people probably compare us also contributes with my very low self esteem

No. I don't think I'm necessary hideous, but I'm a far cry from beautiful. I'd say I'm just annoyingly below average but in a way that people will pass over and not notice me

No. But my partner thinks I am pretty. I guess that's what should count but I doubt him. I have always wanted to be that girl who has guys asking her for her number or starting a convo with.
Of course when my aunt, mom or gran say I am pretty it makes me feel worse lol

No and honestly F** any male who does.

I'm moderately repulsed by the idea that anyone would find me attractive/objectify me.

I know it's just biology but I know what my goals in life are and men aren't in any of them.

Yeah, it's super frustrating to get into a conversation with someone simply because they think I'm good looking. Telling me "I look like a model" or whatever. I know it's a complement but arrggh I want people to take an interest in me as a person...not that there's much there, anyways.

Yup all the time. People will complement me a lot on my hair or something I'm wearing. I know objectively that I'm attractive, I just have no idea what to do with it, and I think I probably break the illusion when I open my mouth lol. For the majority of my life I've been the frumpy nerdy little sister. I still expect people to treat me that way, and it's kinda weird when they don't. It's cute when people get nervous talking to me though. That reminds me there was this one time I was in a swing dancing class, in the class you alternate partners, and this one guy was so nervous to be dancing with me he was shaking. But maybe he was already shaking before he danced with me lol idk
