skipped logging for a few days because I was too tired and just forgot to, I gained 3 pounds and maintained that weight even though ive been eating under my calorie goal. :( I think its because I forgot to take my birth control so im going to get my period in a few days

I have just started the SGD today!

 

yesss! tall people unite! I have never met someone my height irl before, even when I used to play sports as a kid (volleyball and basketball) I was always the tallest. I was doing okay on the diet but it started to heat up outside and I was attending protests, so combining restricting, being outside in the heat, and me being tall as well as my iron deficiency , whenever I would get up at all I would almost pass out (and did a few times) so i stopped the diet. I then got severely depressed for all of June and gained my way back to 180 pounds lmao but thank you for asking if I was okay<3 

 

I wish you luck on the diet! I will probably start the HSGD up again in august :)

Im back!

 

I will be restarting the HSGD (extended version)

 

ik im starting on a wednesday instead of a monday but i ate around 1200 cals and burnt 400 these last 2 days so i will count them as sticking to the diet. 

 

MY RULES:

 

I will not count fruits or vegetables unless they are the higher cal type (potatoes, apples, etc)

 

I must follow my exercise and step plan, this is it:

 

 WEEK 1: walk 10,000 steps, burn 100 cals

WEEK 2: walk 11,000 steps, burn 150

WEEK 3: walk 12,000 steps, burn 200

WEEK 4: walk 12,000 steps, burn 200

WEEK 5: walk 13,000 steps, burn 250

WEEK 6: walk 13,00 steps, burn 250

WEEK 7: walk 13,000 steps, burn 250

WEEK 8: walk 14,000 steps, burn 300

WEEK 9: walk 14,000 steps, burn 300

WEEK 10: walk 15,000 steps, burn 400 

WEEK 11: walk 15,000 steps, burn 400

WEEK 12: walk 15,000 steps, burn 500

WEEK 13: walk 15,000 steps, burn 500

notes:

 

some days i wont update bc i will be too tired

I usually weigh in every other day,  but i am trying to limit that to once a week because if i ever see me gain even .2 pounds it triggers a binge. 

once a week (friday or saturday) i will do a weekly check in to see how my measurements have changed. 

on saturdays/sundays (depending on the day, its usually saturdays) i will eat 2000 cals instead of whatever calorie limit it calls for that day. this helps me not over eat throughout the week. 

also ik i failed a lot prior to this plan but I seriously lacked any motivation to restrict and ended up just binging but im VERY motivated to lose it now. 

edit: I will also be increasing my budget to 1500 on Wednesdays if im having trouble sleeping that week, if my sleep is good then I will follow the regular plan 

 

wish me luck guys I just need to get this weight off asap :)

I didnt get to sleep until 7 am this morning so when I woke up (at 3pm) I was really tired and dizzy so I didnt get all my steps in.

 

I get really bad insomnia whenever I restrict, even if I eat 1200 cals I will have trouble sleeping, and whenever I dont get enough sleep I get really bad nausea and constantly feel like im going to throw up. so I decided to increase my Wednesday's calorie goal to 1500 every week so that if I have bad insomnia, I can eat a little more which will allow me to sleep, and when I get enough sleep I always am able to restrict lower and get my steps in.

I forgot to do my weekly measurements so I will just update that next saturday, that'll also make sure all my water weight is gone by then so it'll give me a more accurate look at how my measurements are changing. 

 

but I weighed in at 180.2 so a 4.8 difference since the start of the diet.

I had a family emergency so I had to travel to see my grandparents (grandpa fell and broke his arm, hes fine tho), all is well but I will be restarting the diet on monday since I cant track my cals or exercise rn and im only a few days in so I'll be happier long term if I just restart it instead of having a week of failure. I get back home on saturday so I'll eat 1300 cals then to warm into the restriction.

when I get to the third or fourth week I want to start running instead of walking

I will eat maintenance on saturdays bc I cant get out of eating and I dont purge 

vegetable calories dont count unless they are like potatoes or another higher cal vegetable
