I work as a bookseller and the most moving book I've ever read is MY DARK VANESSA by Kate Elizabeth Russell. Admittedly, I love it because it hits so close to home and feels like she read my thoughts before, while, and after I'd been in a toxic relationship with an older man. I read it in 2 days while at a convention for work and cried maybe 7 times. It's beautifully written.

- Everything I Know about Love by Dolly Adlerton

- The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides

- The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls

- The Centre of the Universe by Nancy Bachrach

- How to Murder Your Life by Cat Marnell

All of these (except The Silent Patient which is a psychological thriller) are memoirs, and they are absolutely beautiful.

It depends on what kind of books you like. If you're into horror I'd definitely recommend The Exorcist.

If you like true crime, I've just finished listening to the audiobook of If you Tell by Gregg Olson which was really interesting.
And a random book I picked up recently that I absolutely loved was Into the Darkest Corner - Elizabeth Hayes

I got blessed with reading City Of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert. The story itself isn't fascinating but the writing style is very comforting. Read it for hours at a time.
