Are any of you very into minimal makeup?

Sunscreen
Sometimes concealer
Natural brow pencil to fill in the bush
Mascara
Lip balm
Maybe a lip color
I also like those "pretty girl" brands like glossier even though I am not a pretty girl lol.

Same, I'm not pretty but I don't wear any make-up at all. I hide so much of myself from everyone else (all the important stuff) that make-up just seems like one more lie.
About 8 years ago I had my make-up done professionally for a uni thing and people I had spent three years with didn't recognise me at all. Like, complete blank, I had to tell them who I was.

I don't really wear any makeup. I just wear sunscreen and lip balm, and maybe some lip tint/lipstick.

I can't wear minimal makeup like that; I'd like to but it's not going to cover the fact that I'm a walking zombie lmao
I've stopped wearing foundation for over a year and just highlight my under eyes with concealer, helps a ton!!
The last time I tried a routine just like yours, people have asked if I'm sick, high, tired, sad or angry so now I'm caught in an everyday cycle of wearing lots of makeup in an attempt to please society. I wish I could pull off the natural look. I only go makeup free if I go somewhere outside of work.
Toner
Primer
Moisturiser
Draw brows w/ brow pencil
Colour correcting concealer
Concealer
Contouring powder
Setting powder
Eye shadow
Lip liner / Lip Gloss
Setting spray
Mascara
voila, an alternative more healthier looking version of me

I'm totally into minimal makeup, and I mostly wear makeup when I'm off to school or going out with my friends. But I doubt my products and skills a lot, so mostly I only end up with doing my brows, mascara and highlighter. I wanna start with concealer, as I have some uneven spots. And brands like glossier and milk makeup are really nice for minimal makeup.

I am not pretty, there is nothing that can fix my face. I only wear some mascara sometimes.

minimalist make up is my jam! aside from sunscreen and moisturizer, I use transparent brow gel and mascara, tiny bit of highlighter, loads of blush to make me look a little less green and a lipstick/lip tint/balm. on super lazy days I only use vaseline on my brows instead of gel and on cheekbones as a highlighter (vaseline beauty hacks, anyone?). actually works a lot better than one could think though it doesn't hold for too long.
albeit I do love me some bright eyeshadow and eyeliner, especially yellow/red/bronze. not that I use them all that often lol
I see no point in foundation tbh aside from making the color more even. my skin is half desert-dry, half extra-oily, so it takes way too much effort for my foundation to look good. I find that bare skin looks better than anything I try to put on it haha

I pretty much just wear moisturizer and sunscreen.
I've never worn any real make up. And I don't plan to (ever) if I can help it.
Other people look great in makeup but I just don't feel good considering it for myself.

But then I quit stripping and basically quit a lot of standard “beauty” practices. I have since started shaving again haha so I think it’s balancing out.
My routine now is :
Givenchy’s Green primer (to balance out the pink in my skin and provide a more balanced tone to my freckly face). It acts as an SPF as well
Mascara
Shadow if I feel like it
Lipstick if I feel like it (lined, and I only really trust Nars these days; if I want more of a tinted balm look, I mix lip balm and a little lipstick together to desired tone and treat it like a lip stain)
I think delicately enhancing natural beauty is absolutely the way to go. I would MAYBE consider a powder in the summer.

most brands of foundation and concealer irritate my skin and cause breakouts so I mostly opt for minimal makeup and go heavy on skincare

Just,
Concealer (which I use as a foundation)
Eyebrow gel
Mascara
One eyeshadow palette
Eyeliner
Lipstick (which I also use as blush)
And Lipgloss (which I sometime use as highlighter)
Oh and Pressed Powder!
I also only have 5 brushes and one pair of lashes if my feeling extra lol.
This a big change for me. I would wear a lot more makeup. I gave and threw any a lot.
It feels good actually to declutter and don’t miss anything of what I use to have. It’s nice

yess for sure. like even at important events like christmas or a party and can't bring myself to do anything dramatic lmao
I just put a light coverage fountain on my under eyes and around my nose, little bit of highlight on my nose, mascara and some lip balm. Surprisingly really makes a difference

yes, sort of. I used to wear at least mascara but then depression hit me and now I think I'm just lazy. at new years I wore both foundation, eyeshadow and lipstick and I could barely look at myself, it's like whenever I put makeup on nowadays I feel it just accentuates how ugly I really am. I don't know, it's a bit backwards
