lol i'm minimalist not by choice. no matter how many MUA youtube videos i watch and buffing tips.. i just suck at transforming my face with makeup.

sunscreen mixed with foundation
(a primer first if i can be bothered to remember)
brows with pomade or pencil
pencil eyeliner in dark brown usually and mascara (occasional curler-primer use)
blush and that's it

i do wear eyeshadow for special occasions, lipstick, highlighter, and bronzer.

but natural look has been my day to day signature ever since my teens. closer to my 30's no make up days outnumbered even the light makeup days haha

Been working a lot on my skin. I used to have horrible cystic acne and had to cake it on and distract with lipstick and cat eyes and highlighter. The last year, I've been keeping it to really light powder foundation, mascara, lip balm, and nothing else. I do a retinol serum three times a week and always stay out of the sun. A mostly clean diet and no alcohol has helped my skin a lot.

I usually don't wear make up, but when I do it's just eyebrows, a pale/light eyeshadow and then mascara! So easy ~ i used to add a lip color but now there is mask wearing mandates so I don't wear it anymore.

Totally. I wish Glossier was available in my country because I'm sure I'd love their products. I think minimal makeup just looks best on me and I also don't like to use a ton of products, especially complexion products. My makeup routine changes, mostly depending on the season but overall, it's still pretty much the same look:

  • Eyebrow gel
  • Eyelash curler
  • Mascara
  • Tiny bit of concealer in under eye area
  • Tiny bit of highlighter

I also love to wear a little bit of bronzer to make me look a bit more "healthy" but I love the "natural" glowy look (my hydrating serum helps with this as well). If I'm going somewhere special, I'll put on some eyeshadow (either light orange/brown or light berry pink) and a lip product (when we weren't using face masks).

I used to be into a full face of make up. Now, I just do concealer, pressed powder, mascara, and lipstick. I feel like a full face is for special occasions. I prefer the natural look for everyday.

I either wear only mascara or wear all my make up at once until I look like a living doll lol

It's 50/50 for me... since I'm in lockdown the first one is more accurate with my current reality.

I wear minimal makeup on a daily basis, but I love elaborate makeup and I do it as an art form; I never went out with a full face of makeup on unless it was a very elegant event

yesss.  I have a huge fear of and incessant feeling of being dirty esp when I wear makeup so minimal makeup helps a lot with that feeling.  I try to avoid wearing makeup as much as possible for this reason as well.  Normally I'd wear mascara, some eyeshadow, a tiny amount of blush, a small amount of foundation and some lip gloss.  even eyeliner felt like too much for me and I've only recently become comfortable with it.  Kind of makes me sad when I think abt it.

i try to be, a lot of thing i do make-up wise is to purposely make me look different.

i still like doing minimal makeup though! the whole, "do you notice the makeup or the face first" thing rings in my head like a bell when i do my routine lol

Me! And I feel you, I think glossier, milky etc. target already pretty people, with already clear skin and great facial structure. I’m certainly not one of them. I have acne and huge high cheek bones that make my face look hallow, plus a round nose. I need to contour, but I don’t want to. I like a "my skin but better" feeling and look, yet I think it’s almost impossible for me to achieve it, considering I need something to cover up all my scars and pores. Usually I just use a primer to make my skin a bit more even before applying a mixture of sunscreen/moisturizer and foundation. It works well for me, however if you want to try it you should make sure that they’re both based on either synthetics or water. Otherwise they won’t mix well. I also fill in my brows, use mascara and add a bit of lipstick if I’m feeling fancy.

Yeeeesssss I love minimal makeup (on myself at least, I also think intense makeup designs are rad af)

My daily makeup is literally just:

- tinted moisturizer, no foundation or powder
- really light liquid eye shadow, basically just a sheer gold glitter that sparkles in light/sun
- Light facial glitter as a highlighter
- Brows (occasionally, usually just fill in the tail and that's it)
- Lip stain/tinted balm, enough to even out and slightly saturate the natural color of my lips

And when I have the time, I accent my eyes with patterns of swarovski crystals just for fun.

I look like a monster without make up, but concealer, a bit of BB cream and mascara is enough to make me look like a normal person. I used to always wear eyeliner but now it's becoming more of an occasional thing.

I just don't want to change myself too much. I want to be myself. Like I'd rather not look like a zombie, hence the make up that i do wear, but it wouldn't sit right with me to change myself too much

Edit: I do maybe want to try out some blush and highlighter, but for now w covid I don't have places to be at anyway so it can wait lol

Tinted moisturizer Chanel
Powder to set it and not have oil
Eyeshadow from Chanel, the e peachy palette
Dior brown liquid eyeliner, very subtil
Mascara from Lancôme (thin brush to get every lash seperate)
Brow mascara and brow pen in the end, brow powder to fill
Blush: checks tip of nose, chin, on forehead. A natural blush is everywhere, just a tiny bit
Lips mask la neige then lipstick. Applied with a brush, gloss

It looks complicated but it s very natural

I normally wear no makeup because of skin conditions and sensory issues paired with exhaustion and lack of motivation or shits to give. Every now and then I will get creative and experiment with it though.

Yeah, mostly bc it makes me break out and I'm not good at it haha. I usually don't wear any. If I do I try to stick to mascara and eyeliner
