Hurts like bitch.
Can’t breathe properly without being in more pain.
How can my chest hurt this much and I’m not even dying.
Doctors can’t do anything about it.
They don’t even know when it’ll go away. Days, weeks, months...no fucking end in sight

This is such bullshit and I’m having my 3rd meltdown of the day over it.

If anyone has dealt with this, is there anything that helped the symptoms?

Do your costal cartilages actually hurt when you press on them?

I don’t need to press on them for them to hurt but yes applying too much pressure does seem to make the pain worse.

ive had this for years..comes randomly...can last for hours or up to days...surprisingly more movement and physical activity (when youre not actively in pain) is what helped mine become less frequent...when i started my new job as a warehouse worker i thought for sure i would have the pain everyday from all the lifting and bending and stretching but i realized a few months after working there that my episodes happened less and less and now i maybe get a few a year compared to literally every week..i hope this helps <3
