I've taken adderall a few times from my friends to study, but realized I felt like a normal functioning person when I took it. How do I bring up to my doc that I think I would benefit from it?? I don't think I can say I was taking other people's pills lol

Just be honest with your doctor “this is what I’m experiencing, I’ve done some research and believe I could benefit from looking into ADHD medications, what’s your opinion?” ADHD medication literally alters the chemical balance in your brain and can do severe harm if you actually don’t require the medication, so I would recommend bringing it up with your doctor, maybe running some tests if possible, and trusting their professional opinion.
