I don't know about anyone else, but aside from big goals (lose x lbs, change this big behaviour), I find it helpful to plan my day so I know what i need to toward my goals on a more micro level. It is also helpful to express those plans and then follow up with them to be accountable. 

 

E.g. For today, I am going to eat 1000 calories and no candy. (My actual goal today). I will do this by trying to keep hydrated, thinking ahead of what I will eat, logging my food as I eat so I know what I am at. I will check in here at 8 pm when my eating window closes.

 

You will note that I am also quite specific about my goals, and have plans for when things are difficult and to keep me on track. If you want help with goal setting, I am happy to do that too!

I tweak with my macros and cal intake a lot. I normally start at least one new plan a week.

This week's starting to today.

Eat intitivly (part of my recover for ever whist still losing plan)

Macros 60g max total carbs (I'm keto but experimenting with eating more veg), 100g ish protein, rest fat, trying to keep it lower fat to keep cals down.

Cals 1200 - 1400 a day but not fixed need to eat to hunger cues.

I've only managed to gain weight this month, lots of bloat and constipation, need to get back to where I was by 1st of July.

Yes, it is definitely good to have accountability. Keto is awesome too! I'm doing low carb because I'm not really focusing on fat but I'm still focusing on just lean proteins and green leafy veg. 

 

My plan is 1k calories a day. Breakfast is going to always be coffee, no eating after 7pm and working out 5 days a week and must be over 20 minutes with weight training twice a week.

You can look in the mirror everyday wishing you had a better body, OR you can do something about it! It's not going to be easy but it WILL be worth it! Always remember nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!

I went just over 1000 calories because I just had 15 peanuts. Shucks. Also not hydrated. I also sacrificed 100 cals for a chocolate almond milk. I was productive at work today which helped me only eat when I was hungry.

My day yesterday went perfectly to plan, skimped a bit at dinner time (thought i could bring it in under 1000cals) but was feeling hungry later. Ended up eating a piece of cold chicken which I'd originally planned as part of my dinner. Finished the day on 1100cals and 35g total carbs.

I am torn between not wanting to eat at all and the desire to walk to the grocery store and buy crap that I should not eat. And we are not even talking binge food but binge food that isn’t gluten free which I have been for years. I am just feeling like, if my body is going to hurt no matter what I eat, why not eat all the things. So backwards. At the same time I am stuck in my head with no internet to distract me and my work stress eating me alive. So, my goal is to get through the day without self-destructing. It would be even better if I could eat well, low cal and get some stuff done around the house and maybe even study. But who can do that stuff when stress threatens to kill you?

Well today my goal was walk 30,000 steps and eat around 1,000 calories.

So far I've done 26,000 and I still have a while to go so I will make that goal.

For food I've only had 50 calories so far...and the only meal left is dinner and since I'm the cook I know it won't be more than 275 calories.

So I may have some alcohol later to get a bit more calories in. I want to be able to function tomorrow and not feel all bingey 😏 so I feel like I may have screwed up my food goals

Wow that's  a lot of steps. Do you routinely walk that many steps? Seems like you might need some more food. Good luck.

Yesterday my cals came in at 1350. But I went over my carb limit 69g grr, had a raw carrot snack attack late evening, only 90cals but 21.5g total carbs.

My period finally arrive, so I'm pretty sure I'll be free of the bloat in a few days. Then I'll know if I've made any progress this month.

Spent hours yesterday sunbathing and reading, I feel guilty because I'm not being productive, there's so much to do around the house and garden.

Hang in there. I think 1000 cals is great and that is a lot of steps so I would not try to low restrict. I know it is frustrating when the scale stalls.

Failed. All I could do is get through the work day which ended up being 1.5 hours longer than scheduled. Then I just tuned out for the evenining.


Today is a new day! Hopefully you get more time for you today, I know I never want to do anything in the evening if I've had to work overtime.

Today I want to spend at least 8 total minutes doing planks and stay close to 500 cals. Maybe 600? I had a few really low days in a row which is awesome but I think I need a slightly higher cal day mixed in or I will end up binging.

I've stuck to my cal limit for 9 days, and im really starting to feel positive about stepping on the scale on the 1st of July, hoping the number is a good one.
