I've always struggled with insomnia and anxiety at night, but there are times when it gets worse. Maybe my body was just so exhausted finally last night, after a long bout of anxiety and insomnia kept me tossing and turning for months.
I fell asleep quickly and stayed asleep for the whole night. Without headphones on (which, yes, are extremely uncomfortable but block out all external sound). When I woke up this morning, I had a just-woke-up-from-deep-sleep groggy feeling, and it was great. I wish I could sleep like that every night, but I'll take it every once in a while.
