So I recently discovered that I have IBS and now I need to start a Low FODMAPS diet so I can rule out what foods trigger my symptoms. I have been dairy free for a while and I am Vegetarian. I'm having some problems finding Low FODMAPS and low calorie vegetarian recipes and I cook for my husband, who is also a vegetarian, so I can't just stop cooking meals all together.
Does anyone else follow this diet? Are there any recommendations you have for low cal recipes or meals that involve this diet?
PS: the Low FODMAPS diet is NOT a weightloss diet, I wouldn't recommend it if you don't absolutely need it. Its not a fad, its a life altering way of living for the health of you Colon and overall gut health... You will probably be missing a LOT of nutritional valued food if you try this without the proper knowledge of what you are doing with the guidance of a dietitian.
