Has anyone been bumped shamed? People commenting on how your to small/big?
Yesterday I went to the dentist, I'm sitting in the chair and the Dentist (athletic thin woman) asked how far long I am. I tell her "31 wks". Her response? "Omg but your bump is so tiny" I'm sitting there looking at her like wtf. Number one I'm crazy bloated and two I feel like I'm going to pop. But I guess I just look fat 😒

personally I would be psyched if someone told me my bump is tiny

my next door neighbor asked me when I was due, probably like expecting me to say September or something...I'm like December yeah...only half way through thanks tho

Honestly tho people are assholes and always say dumb shit like that

a friend of mine just had a baby and gained a lot of weight (medication she was on) people asked her everyday if she was having twins, like even people who knew were still like are you sure you're not having twins har-har, yeah dude fucking hiliarious

when I was pregnant with my son my co-workers straight toremented me, saying shit like my stomach gets to work 5 minutes before the rest of me, you're getting too big to work back here (i worked in a tiny kitchen) i tried to let them have their fun, in all fairness i worked there for 6 years and that was the only time i wasn't tiny so...

hang in there ... it's almost over

I was told this all the time. It started getting annoying, and I had to be induced at 38+1 for IUGR, so I kind of wanted to rub that in the faces of everyone who said my bump was tiny. Like...yeah, my baby was dangerously small because my placenta stopped working, thanks for noticing

(She was actually fine and a bit bigger than they expected when she was born, and is now a healthy, pudgy 5-month-old!)

I was told with both of my pregnancies that something must be wrong with me/baby because I was skinny and had a small bump.

Lol my babies were healthy and over 4kg/9lbs when they were born. But I have retroverted uterus, long torso and wide hips. So baby is mostly inside me and bump ends up showing late and looking small.

Comments hurt during the first pregnancy. During the second I didn't care. And in the future when we have more children I won't care. :)

I got the "Are you sure they didnt miss a twin??"

and then my son came out 9lbs 7oz, 22 inches (thats almost 2 feet long!!)  and his weight was what my twin brother and sister weighed combined.

I got a 4d ultrasound and my family tried telling me he wouldnt be that big, I was just big before thats why I had a huge belly.

Thanks for sharing this. I thought pregnant women wanted to hear they looked small or considered it a complement. I'll be mindful not to comment on the size of the bump.

Ugh, I feel your pain. I'm sorry that people feel its ever their business to comment on our pregnant bodies.  My belly is straight out in front of me and it is so uncomfortable carrying this babe.  Walking is painful due severe SI Joint pain and I had a coworker tell me I need to have a "Slow moving vehicle" sign on my back.  Honestly, it makes it embarrassing to be pregnant.
