So normally I go walking and burn around 350 calories. But this morning I didn't go because it's too dark, and although I hate the way I look I don't fancy being attacked for the 'perfect' body. I work and don't have time later on in the day with other commitments to go for a walk.

So what other exercise can I do in the house that will burn that amount of calories?

Taking a bath, lol. It gets my heart rate up from 70 (resting) to 120bpm. And it’s more gentle on the cardiovascular system than other forms of exercise. Fitbit is great at tracking calories burned, even from baths πŸ₯΅

If you look on Youtube, there are tons of 15-20 minute workouts focused on calorie burning, fat loss, stretching, muscle tone, etc.

Pamela Reif has tons of them, I would start there.

There's an app called HomeWorkouts which I use a bunch lately, and it's all done at home(!)

you can also select if you're a beginner or intermediate, or advanced

So leave me in the cold

Wait until the snow covers me up
So I cannot move
So I'm just embedded in the frost
Then leave me in the rain
Wait until my clothes cling to my frame
Wipe away your tear stains
Thought you said you didn't feel pain

Your head is so numb

That nervous breath you try to hide
Between the motions
That trembling tender little sigh

June 5th, 2020: I've lost 3kg(!) weight loss has been slow but finally getting somewhere

Hoping to lose another 5 kg now that weight loss is easier without birth control

June 23rd, 2020: I've been plateauing on this weight, just when I thought I was making progress

July 8th, 2020: Currently on a low-carb/high-protein diet

July 27th, 2020: I've lost a total of more than 5kg,

and I am definitely losing weight faster with a low-carb/high-protein diet

.trying to recover.

Honestly I love running. Am I good at it? No. Can I do it for very long? No. But it feels so exhilarating! I'm trying to slowly ease into it. Highly recommend.:) Walking or stair climbing is great too. I throw on my headphones, listen to a podcast or some music and ignore the rest of the world.

Sorry, just realized you said in the house. I have a cheapo stair stepper from Amazon that I use or just run in place if I can't be outside. Floor exercises/body weight exercises are great too

If you go on youtube theres a girl named Sydney Cummings, she has a bunch of videos that fit into different time frames, target different body parts (some are full body), and a lot of them tell the calories burned in the video which is useful

Pacing. I can generally get the same sort of distance in that I would if I were walking outside. Walking up and down stairs is great too.
