thinstrument, hope your tummy feels better...that’s miserable.

I decided to have a planned cheat day on Sunday (Yep, FINALLY football Sunday yay!!). I haven’t had a true cheat day since this relapse started. I had one day that I ate 1000 cal and that’s the closest I’ve gotten to one

So the hubs and I apparently have a double date Sunday. Hike and picnic. However I don’t know like if we’re bringing our own food or food to share or what here 🤷‍♀️

I think a Chipotle bowl would be a nice picnic lunch lol

Finally losing again!!!

New low weight - 109.0

Goal is to reach 105 by September 19th..... going to have to push hard for those 4 pounds.

Just saying hi ladies! We had a little beach getaway last weekend for Labor Day. It has set me back majorly weight-wise. I am very disappointed in myself but am back on track. Having sinus issues again which makes me feel bad. I am reading though and catching up on your posts.

Morning everyone! The hikes and beach getaway sound so nice. We’re going to the mountains in a few weeks for some hiking...can’t wait!

After losing consistently over the past 7 weeks I only lost .8 lbs last week and it’s really a bummer mentally. I’m still having my planned cheat day today so maybe I’ll get the cravings out of my system.

Son is getting married in a few months and I’d like to drop at least 10 lbs by then. I had my outfit picked out when they were still intent on a big huge formal wedding, but now it’ll be an intimate casual family only affair so have to start searching again for the perfect mother-of-the-groom outfit.

Our date got postponed because it was cold (it got moved to Saturday!) so I hit the farmer's market and cooked for like 3 hours, and cleaned the house

 

Farmer market haul:  zucchini, tomatoes, sweet corn, ground cherries, bok choi, onions, gypsy peppers (basically bell peppers with a bougie name haha)

 

I made my baked zucchini thing and baked some tilapia (with garlic, lemon juice, basil)...HUGE meal and so few calories.  https://www.feasting...an/print/19737/  Dinner was popcorn and a beer LOL because what is life without balance.

 

I got SO MANY veggies though.  making a HUGE stir fry to be like 3 meals this week - will make zoodles and add tofu and shrimp probably, to diced peppers and bok choi and onions.  Also making baked eggs for dinner with some pepper and bok choi.  Brunch today is probably ground cherries and cottage cheese.

5.5-ish mile hike yesterday. I wasn’t hungry after but had veggies to use so I ate a baked eggs thing and some ground cherries.

Tonight my nephew is in town (he’s a pilot which is super cool) so we are going out to dinner in lieu of our walk.... Hoping to only have my smoothie (200 cals) before we go.

I was awake for like 4 hours last night randomly so feeling tired and bingey today. Give me strength and coffee rip

Hi all. Joining in the discussion late. I have been in a mega-depression since the hubs pushed off in January and gained a ridiculous amount of weight. I'm in a good relationship now and he obviously doesn't care that I'm currently a fatty. My male fruend told me I've gotten "scary big," and none of my pants fit. I bought a new scale yesterday and my friend is right. I am at my lifetime 2nd heaviest, 156.8. Ffs, my bf weighs 144.4. This is terrible. But I know what needs to be done. Off to go walking now. I work noon to 8 pm today and have an easy way to skip dinner. Oh shit, guys. I gotta get this under control.

Tiny, it’s good to see you. I mean I wish we were meeting elsewhere but it’s good to hear from you.

The hubs has literally not cared one whit about my weight despite a 40lb fluctuation(yikes) other than being worried when I was at my lowest. I think most decent humans are wired that way. Or maybe that’s what I want to believe lol

Met my nephew for dinner last night and it was great to catch up with him but I am literally beating myself up over a cheeseburger. Like I’m having all that lame teen-angsty internal wailing about being sure it has made me gain 5 lbs. also yesterday I didn’t stick to my plan of “smoothie only” - I had a single serving of Pop Chips and a cottage cheese. So 450 calories before my cheeseburger and fries (which I didn’t even FINISH) and I am mad at myself and obviously overreacting but here we are. Sigh

How are you losing weight currently?

 

 

Low restriction.  500 or under each day, always trying to keep it around 300.

No exercise.  I am uber lazy.

Thinstrument, hey girl! Good seeing you again. Funny, what you said about the burger. My new bf made burgers last night. I managed to get out of it with 3 bites. I also had a spring mix salad with lemon vinegarette, and (God forbid) a small slice of pizza. But I burned over 900 calories yesterday, so there's that. I had a 2.8 lb loss. Hang in there. We'll get this.

If I turn my head just so, I think I can see chest bones. Also when I do downward dog my thighs looks GREAT. haha

Your progress sounds amazing! (Chest bones are like the holy grail for me lol)

I pigged out on Sunday...planned cheat day but I didn’t even attempt to count calories....3 slices supreme pizza, loads of peanut m&ms, chips and dips, strawberry pop tarts (I don’t even like them that much), and carrots ?(that was a strange choice lol).

I’ve gotta get rid of the flabby grandma arms!

thinstrument love Carrot Stick Hungry for a book title. Sounds like you are doing well- chest bones are a goal I have never achieved.

Leanan - hopefully your ToM bloat will be fine by Saturday.

I am just feeling like I lost my mojo and momentum and have had a hard time battling hunger and stress. Work yuck and hurricanes mainly. It’s been an active year with storms. I am disappointed in myself. But upward and onward. Working for 105 by end of month.
