Also, one of my favourite books ever. Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, I remember reading this while bawling my eyes out on the train lol. And "The First Bad Man", by Miranda July.

Do you have any particular styles of books you like? I could recommend loads, but different books would suit different people.

The Dovekeepers by Alice Hoffman. Great if you like historical fiction and/or magical realism.

I guess I just want my invisible jet.

If you like christian books:

melody carlson's diary of a teenage girl series: chloe's books (not your traditional goody goody christian book; chloe is a rock rebel lol) and caitlynn's books, secrets series: enticed(great eye opening book about human trafficking, even i your not a christian this is a great read) , damaged (abusive relationships/sexual assult story) , shattered (great book about muder, loss and drug addiction!)

If you don't like christian books:

Louise O'neill's Only Ever Yours (super triggering but an absolute must read! dystopian world veiw)

The Falling Between Us (don't know the author, deals suicide, depression, stuffs, main character deals with lots of ups and down and her co-character is a rocker)

and Paperweight (Don't know the author either; fictional eating disorder treatment stuffs)

These are all super great reads and really give you somethings to think about

Headed out to recover!!! <3<3<3

Girl, Inturrupted by Susanna Keysen
- forget EVERYTHING about the movie, which was not at all accurate to susanna Keysens biography. I hate the movie's association to the book so so so much

Changing Ways by Julia Tannenbaum. It's based on the author's struggles with anorexia and is the first ED book I read that I really felt got it right.

The Vegetarian by Han Kang. A strange, dark, cerebral story of a woman who one day has a dream and becomes a vegetarian. Everything else by this author is also great.

Also recommend Haruki Murakami for total immersion in someone elseโ€™s strange world, bonus if you like Japanese culture. The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle and Norwegian Wood are my favorites.
