Day 5

(Early am.. I am such a night owl and do my best work/thinking at night ..but it's so hard because I've always associated night with snacking )

2 cups broth approx 30 cal I want popcorn sooooo bad 

 

I might actually have a little I'm soooo bad at this but I try not to beat myself up.. after all the calories needed for 5 days is about 10,000 and I've had less than half of that.

Day 2 (500 limit), 49 days to go
24 lbs to loose
Down 3 pounds from yesterday, good bye water weight.
Intake:
- 6 oz coffee with 1 tsp of mct - 50
- 6 oz coffee with 7g butter- 50
- 6 oz coffee with 1 tsp of mct- 50
- 6 oz coffee with 1 tsp of mct, 8g butter. 1/3 cup of almond milk -130
- cup of kombucha- 30
- bag of edamame- 190
Total: 500
If hungry I will have some exogenous ketones or low cal chocolate (25cal total) I do not count it into total intake.

Day 5:

Just waiting for my fast to finish, but yesterday wasn't super great. My net after workout was a staggering 304 . It was a particularly stressful yesterday, so I'm going to try a little better today.

Because of the amount of benefiber I've been taking, it's going to be a very liquid type consumption day today, because things really haven't been moving very well (apologies for TMI, I don't really have anyone else to talk to about this), and it's been very frustrating.

Edit:

Breakfast:

Consisted of a rather pathetic:

Blueberries: 100g
Coffee: 14oz with 1tbsp of 33% fat whipping cream to get some fats and calories

Total: 106 calories

Snack:

Consisted of:

Chicken broth: 1.5 cups
Garlic Powder: .5 teaspoons
Parsley: .5 tablespoons
Salt: to taste

Total: a staggering 15 calories

I've been battling a three or four day migraine, I lost count, and it's been very unpleasant. I'm going to try and get it to clear up without an opioid today. I'm cleared for 180mg of codeine, which is six bloody tablets, but I've already had like fifteen of the stupid things and I don't want them.

Sorry, I don't mean to ramble, I'm just crabby today.

Lunch:

I got annoyed with the migraine and went to get some caffeine.

Coffee (mcdonald's, medium Regular): 40 cals
Salad: 89g
Parmesan Cheese: 20g
Zesty Italian Dressing: 1tbsp
Mini Pepsi: 0 cal

Total: around 120ish?

Dinner:

Consisted of:

Boneless skinless chicken thighs: 109g
Honey dijon mustard bbq sauce: 1tbsp

Calories: 212 or so

It's a bit better than yesterday, but my nerves are singing like mad, and an argument about politics and the cheeto in chief down south put me in a bit of a grouchy mood. Now I want chocolate.

I'm in induced menopause, so I haven't had PMS in years, but I remember it being horrible. I never used to get really crabby, but I was always tired and craving salt.

Same here! I had a pretty off day today, so I'm going to try and see if I can get back on track tomorrow!

Day 2 went well - I ended up at ~700kcl, but I was really fighting the bingemonster all afternoon, dreamed about cakes and pastries all night and somehow magically gained weight... 

Feeling a bit defeated, but I will try not to give in to the Bulimia talking in my head.

Day 6:

Breakfast consisted of:

Banana: 103g
Blueberries: 100g

Total: 140 cals

I haven't had any tea or coffee yet, because I wasn't paying attention when I loaded the dishes and turned on the washer, and all my mugs are in there

Lunch consisted of:

Protein shake: 160 cals
Medium Coffee from McDonald's (the only thing I ever get, which is a regular one): 40 cals

Total: 200 cals

I'm not sure if Mcdonald's standardizes across both Canada and the US, but out here it's listed at 40 - 70 calories on the website, if you're getting half cream or milk. If it's full cream and the regular sugar, it's 70 calories. Either way, it's still fairly reasonable. Tim Hortons is a whopping 105 calories for the same measurements, my God I'm turning in a caloric nightmare.

Also I bought a tiny Boston Cream doughnut from there. I haven't eaten any McDonald's in like 25 years, but the doughnuts are like 180 calories and I want to try it. Maybe I'll give it a go. If I don't like it, my husband will eat it.

Snack:

Tiny Boston Cream doughnut from McDonald's: 180 cals

This is...surprisingly good, all things considered. I thought it was going to taste like ass, but I actually don't mind it. I just broke a 25, almost 26 year streak of not eating anything from McDonald's. It's a mixed feeling. I don't intend on eating another, mind you, but it wasn't bad.

Total calories for the day after exercise so far: a whopping 230 .

Sorry for the random ramble.

Dinner:

Homemade Cajun Garlic Cod: 369 calories

If anyone wants the recipe, let me know and I'll post it here. I threw it together, it's like four ingredients, and it's damned good.

Mann's Sugar Snap Peas: 35 cals

Total calories after exercising and job, like 400. I'm amazed I even hit this threshold, considering how abysmal the last few days were. This damned migraine has been wreaking havoc for God knows how many days, and I want to throw up. But the fish is very good.

Day 2! 

 

I actually managed to get some exercise following youtube videos and hula hooping (I'm stuck indoors because my state is burning down lol)

 

Breakfast:

 

Bagel -250

Cream cheese -180

Blueberries - 20

Avocado slices - 50 

 

Dinner:

 

Stuffed bell peppers (plant-based "meat"- 180, cilantro lime rice - 150, cheese and spice blend- 80, various veggies - 100 max) 

 

I didn't eat an entire pepper so I'm probably overestimating the calories I consumed by a good amount, but better safe than sorry lol 

 

Total: 1,010/1,000

Ok back to day 5 -200 cals I hate these days because I really am such a foodie and never had to restrict in my life until recently. 

 

lunch/dinner mixed spring greens with olive juice as dressing and a few pieces of tomato

The rest of day will be a chai tea latte, regular black tea and lots of water..I stopped going to starbucks/other coffee places because of a COVID scare and I don't like non fancy at home coffees..tea is much better and I don't get jittery!

Tomorrow is day 6. I haven't lost anything so far. Not a single pound. Also I'm so annoyed at certain people on this site. I really think others might be jealous that we are attempting ABC and almost to the end of the first week. Because some of the hate I got recently was so bizzare. 

I am a stress eater and so far I'm resisting the temptation but others always make this so hard.. now I understand why my mom would eat late at night due to work stress when I was growing up.. I fear my late night snacking is something I learned from her sigh.

Day 3 sucked. Idk I felt like shit and to be able to exercise, I ate some more than planned. Ended up at roughly 1k. I'll subtract that from today so I'll do 400 today.

I feel so good this morning, hungry but good. I missed feeling of empty stomach.
Yesterday's evening was struggle. I held pantry doors open but was able to talk myself out of going too much over the limit.
- 6 oz coffee, 1 3/4 cup of chia milk, 6g butter, 1 tsp mct, added another 9g butter later - 200
- 6 oz coffee, tsp of mct- 50
- green juice with 1 tbs of flax seeds- 100
- 255 g steamed cauliflower with turmeric, salt, pepper- 60
- extra butter, chocolate and coconut oil
total: 800

Yes it is a beast! One definitely loose lot of weight even on double.

Congrats on making it this far.. I don't understand why I'm not losing. I have not lost a single pound. I went a little over one day, but I am still way, way below maintenance for age, height and weight. And that was only one day.

You said you were PMSing? It might come off in chunk once period is over. Plus the stress from PMS...body does not want to loose probably
