hi, i’m a newbie who is trying to lose weight. I used to be at a normal weight until i got on medication, gained weight, then lost the weight and gained even more back. my old doctor told me she got me off of all weight gaining meds in march but my new doctor recently told me i was actually was on weight gaining meds still which is why my weight loss medication wasn’t working. now that i’m getting off the weight gainers i am trying to at least get back to my normal weight but my goal is to be underweight and actually skinny. i’m hoping that this community will help me get to my goal. thank you for reading :)

Hi! Welcome to MPA.
Some of those meds are killer. I know depakote was ROUGH for me. But I was put on mirtazapine at 190 and I'm now 129, so they're not all bad!

Welcome to MPA!

Try to get underweight in a healthy way. I personally don't think there is anything wrong with being underweight (Depending on how far you go...) But there are ways to lose that much weight without destroying your health while you are at it... (^:
