So instead of buying flavoured oats, can't you just make the oatmeal with tea? Just pour cinnamon/vanilla tea over it instead of water. Can someone try this please
I was planning on having grapes today so I can't make it

Please do! Update hereOmg I’ve never done or heard of that but it seems like it would be so good. I will maybe try it soon. Wow

Yeah ofc but it could work with other flavours too maybe, like things you wouldn't normally buy (lychee, licorice, etc). Cinnamon/vanilla is just an exampleYes, but I mean.. you could also just add cinnamon and/or vanilla??

Oh wait lol I actually forgot I've done this. I did it with green tea, but ig because green tea has such a nuanced flavor I couldn't taste it so it would've been more filling to have it in a separate cup. I also have tried it with flat lemon La Croix but same results. If you try a stronger flavor then it might work?

That sounds awesome, let me know how it goes! I'm lowkey doing the opposite nowadays, I used to mix protein powder into my oats but now I'm drinking it and eating the oats separately so it's higher volume and I'm good for longer after I'm done.

You could also use a 0 cal sweetener like stevia or monkfruit. Or if you're looking for flavor, try pure cacao/cocoa powder because it's like 30 cals for 2 tbsp and can add a slight chocolate flavor. Plus, magnesium. Could you also mix some fruit in your oat? Even a thin honey drizzle can add flavor without as much as the flavored oatmeal types would be.

I've done it with raspberry tea, it was pretty good. I boiled rolled oats in steeped tea.
