i didn’t have a good day yesterday but i drove through a town right by my hometown. my best friend lived there a few years back. it was so beautiful, the small historic brick buildings, huge red and gold trees, leaves falling by the railroad tracks. it felt warm and calm and peaceful. i wish i took a picture.

out of nowhere my cat ran up to me meowing and gave me some love. it made my day.

had a lady complaining about a magazine calling Michelle Obama an inspiration, this woman was just LAYING it on her, digging on Michelle Obama (work at a grocery store in Deep South USA, red state)

By the end of the day I had a lady looking at the same magazine for a long time. She bought it and says she will show it to her granddaughter to inspire her.

It was like a full circle to me. It was a nice moment.

I was outside putting out the bin earlier today when I found a beautiful white butterfly there seems to be lots of butterflies around at the moment, which is nice.

One of my cats sat underneath our Christmas tree (yeah, it's up early). The way he was looking up into the cosy Christmas lights just made my heart melt.

explored an abandoned house with my friend and got to see someone else's life play out through the stuff they left behind

Yesterday I went to a history museum and it was great just to get out of the house for a few hours. I learned some history and got to see the inside of an old school house and much more. I felt like I was on the set of Anne with an "E." For example, I didn't know that fashion magazines came about because women needed to know how to properly dress for mourning. Of course at first they had pamphlets and albums for women to look through for stylish clothing ideas, but you get the gist.

Waking up to a day without loneliness because I finally have a friend who gets what it’s like to live with this shit
Also, waking up warm and cozy in a safe home with a family that loves me. I am so grateful to be housed and in a place of incredible privilege. SO many people are freezing and sleeping outdoors just a block away from my home so I am damn lucky

Literally my favorite band since I was 12?? I believe. Instant hit when I found them. They make me so happy, if it isn't cancelled again I will see the, (from afar, nosebleed seats!) in September 2021!!
