Hi everyone, I'm new to posting (I have been lurking forever though lmao), so please let me know if this is in the wrong place or if the formatting is terrible

I did an almond milk mono yesterday and lost so I thought I'd make this to document that and any of my other mono experiences / experiments

My Rules

- I'm still going to drink coffee and take B12 dally (I'm vegan and love coffee)

- I'll probably still drink tea (no milk or sugar though)

- Aiming for 2l of water a day

Mono 1 - Almond Milk

Start Weight: 119.5lbs / 54.2kg

Throughout the day I had

- 4 coffees

- 2 teas

- 1l of almond milk (I use the Alpro sweetened one which came out to 220 calories for the litre)

End Weight: 118.25lbs / 53.6kg

Total loss: 1.25lb / 0.6kg

Mono 2 - Soy Milk

Start Weight: 118.25lbs / 53.6kg

Throughout the day I had

- 5 coffees (its a terrible habit ik)

- vitamins

- 2 teas

- 2L soy milk (I used the Alpro sweetened one, totalled just under 800 calories for 2L)

End Weight: 116.25lbs / 52.7kg

Weight Loss: 2lbs / 0.9kg

I have no idea how this worked. Somehow I lost so much more weight on the day I had 800 cals than the day I had 220???

also, this is a new lw!! (unless you count the 112lbs I was when I was 12 and 5 inches shorted than I am now) I've been stuck around 118 / 119 for so long seeing 116.25 almost doesn't feel real

Taking a break for a few days, but I'll be back soonish with more mono experiments. I'm planning on trying different plant milks since that seems to have worked for me, but if anyone has suggestions I'd love to hear them:)

Mono 3 - Soy Milk Part 2

Start Weight: 116lbs / 52.6kg

4 coffees

1 green tea

1L soy milk (the same as the pervious one so 390 cals for the litre)

End Weight: 114lbs / 51.7kg

Weight loss: 2lbs / 0.9kg

really starting to think soy milk is some magic weight loss elixir
