i’m bmi 16 rn and size 10 (possibly a size 8 but my body dysmorphia can’t see it so i buy size 10) i have wide hips and ribcage and 5ft 8 which isn’t that tall but i don’t think i’ll ever be a size 4 :(

Possibly. Or maybe an xs because we also have size 00. When I took a Canadian/US size 0, I took a size 30 in Poland and Germany. I don’t know if those sizes are consistent elsewhere in Europe? A 0 is also a size 4 UK I believe.

I am tall and an athlete, so I have fit a size 0 in a range of BMI's from as high as 21 (cycling competitively at that time and mostly recovered I had a 24 inch waist but my legs are disproportionately long to the rest of my body and all muscle).

The "biggest" I have ever been was a size 2 getting tight at a BMI 18 but I was on exercise restrictions and in treatment.

This is why I dont trust BMI and mostly just use measurements and body fat percentage (I get it check through a local university using the bod pod).

I am currently 7 weeks out of hospital and a size 0 at BMI 18.1.

Oh yeah, there are some random numbers too. 32 or 34 is maybe xs or s.

Well, it's not like these matter that much. The sizes differ so much between brands only.

the first time i did i think i was around bmi 17.5+ but i didnt track my weight back then so i'm not sure. my hips are 80cm and my bust is 70cm though/my frame is quite small. i think it really depends on what store you go to and if youre trying tops or bottoms though. i'm in the upper 16s now and i fit 0, 00, xs and xxs depending on the store

Yes! Exactly!! I’ve been told or maybe I read somewhere that this isn’t the case in the UK and that a UK 6 for example is the same everywhere but I don’t know that for sure. It’s definitely the case in Canada where sizes don’t matter because they are all over the place.

I'm European so I might get this wrong. But I fit Into XXS (or even smaller but that's the smallest size I've come across in the adult section) in tops, and XS in pants/shorts etc, sometimes I can fit into an XXS in those as well, depends on the brand. I think this is equivalent to a size 0?? Wikipedia's measurements are bigger than mine at least.

My BMI was 18 last time I weighed myself and my measurements haven't moved either so yea. I'm really short though so I've always had fairly small clothing sizes.
