im so sorry because this isn't 100% related, but i think they have a sex and relationships forum since you were saying you couldn't find a section to talk about this. Anyways, I really hope you get answers and i hope everything works out! remember that he will likely love you and help you work through these issues if you just tell him about them

when people (both male and female) face psychological distress, it is often common to lose desire for sex. For some other people, it is a signal/sign of melancholy or depression. Whatever it is, it is not a good sign not to want to make love to someone you love. ED's make it hard because we cannot believe the other person when they tell us that our bodies are beautiful, because sometimes we dont see our bodies as beautiful due to our perfectionism, or due to BDD, and etc similar body view situations.

& also yes i've had this too. it's really frustrating. i did some therapy around it & would really recommend that to get to the root cause of the issue.
