Hi! I started a vegan diet on September 14, 2020. I ate a lot of vegan junk food. I want to eat whole foods plant based and lose about 10% of my body weight. I was 47kg but I am now 46kg and stalled since the beginning of October due to eating a lot of refined carbs. I want to reach my goal weight of 42kg by the New Year. oh yeah and my height is 143cm(stupid genetics TT).
I made a very detailed eating plan in my notes app. It's super long because I wrote actual steps to fix bad eating habits and what foods to eat or not, so to summarize it is just eat fruits, vegetables, beans, grains, and flax/chia seed. No other overt fats like nuts, seeds, oils, coconut products, chocolate,no refined carbs and proccessed food. Do not eat after 6pm. These are the bad habits I am trying to fix that lead to weight gain.
Bad habits that lead to weight gain:
-Large portions
-Eating too fast
-Multitasking/watching TV/computer while eating
-Eating too much on the weekends
-Sedentary
-Eating refined carbs/refined fats
-Going to bed late
I made a workout routine as well.
Try to get 10K+ steps daily and stretch when you wake up & before bed. Ride the stationary bike for 30 min on Sun,Tue,Thur,Fri, Sat @ 6pm. Do ab & arm workouts on Sun, Tue, Thur @ 6:30pm for 15 min. Do lower body exercises on Fri and Sat at 6:30pm.
I'm incorporating intermittent fasting into this plan as well. I'm eating two meals a day five days a week(900-1200 calories), and fasting 24 hours twice a week(usually mondays and wednesdays) breaking the fast with one meal.
