Hi! I started a vegan diet on September 14, 2020. I ate a lot of vegan junk food. I want to eat whole foods plant based and lose about 10% of my body weight. I was 47kg but I am now 46kg and stalled since the beginning of October due to eating a lot of refined carbs. I want to reach my goal weight of 42kg by the New Year. oh yeah and my height is 143cm(stupid genetics TT).

 

I made a very detailed eating plan in my notes app. It's super long because I wrote actual steps to fix bad eating habits and what foods to eat or not, so to summarize it is just eat fruits, vegetables, beans, grains, and flax/chia seed. No other overt fats like nuts, seeds, oils, coconut products, chocolate,no refined carbs and proccessed food. Do not eat after 6pm. These are the bad habits I am trying to fix that lead to weight gain.

 

Bad habits that lead to weight gain:

-Large portions 

-Eating too fast 

-Multitasking/watching TV/computer while eating 

-Eating too much on the weekends

-Sedentary

-Eating refined carbs/refined fats

-Going to bed late

 

I made a workout routine as well. 


Try to get 10K+ steps daily and stretch when you wake up & before bed. Ride the stationary bike for 30 min on Sun,Tue,Thur,Fri, Sat @ 6pm. Do ab & arm workouts on Sun, Tue, Thur @ 6:30pm for 15 min. Do lower body exercises on Fri and Sat at 6:30pm.

 

I'm incorporating intermittent fasting into this plan as well. I'm eating two meals a day five days a week(900-1200 calories), and fasting 24 hours twice a week(usually mondays and wednesdays) breaking the fast with one meal.

Hi everyone! So today I am 45.3kg. I lost a kilogram since November 1(46.3kg). 

I was really busy and fasted 20 hours even though my goal was 16. Thats good!
Today for breakfast I ate

1 small bowl of quinoa with soy milk and an apple.

I skipped lunch because my breakfast was at 1pm haha.

Dinner was cabbage, broccoli, asparagus, 1 cup of chickpeas, and 200g of korean sweet potato. 

 

Total calories ~1050.

 

I did 1 hour of cardio I managed to squeeze in my busy day.

Hi everyone! Today I'm 44.6kg! Wow I lost 700g since yesterday. Today I'm going to eat one meal a day.

Here's what I plan to eat after the fast:

vegetables(asparagus, cabbage, broccoli)

1/2 cup lentils

1/2 cup black rice

1 cup of soy milk

2 small clementines

Total calories: 512

This morning I am still 44.6kg even though I fasted and ate what I planned. Something came up. Tomorrow I cannot fast 24 hours so I will fast today to make up for it. I will still exercise today as planned. Here is what I plan to eat after my fast:

2 kiwis

Vegetables(collards,cabbage,asparagus,broccoli)

1/2 cup chickpeas

200g korean sweet potato

1 cup soy milk

total calories- 663

the kiwis are bad :( so im gonna have grapes(200g) instead

Today I am 44.5kg. I fasted 24 hours and sticked to my plan of what I'll eat. I only lost 100g? I expected more than that because I also dry fasted and did not water until I ate. Anyways, this morning I am going to eat for breakfast a smoothie and for dinner just vegetables beans and black rice. When I weigh those contents on my food scale, I'll update the total calories of the day. :)

Okay so my breakfast today was a smoothie. It was so good I might make it again. It was made out of frozen banana, pear, soy milk, chia seed, and green barley leaf powder. 
 

I ate some healthy popcorn for lunch.

 

For dinner I will have vegetables, beans, and black rice.

 

The total calories is about 1200.

Hey everyone! So today I am 44.3kg! This is the lowest I have been all year! For breakfast I had 1/4 cup quinoa (cooked with soy milk) with apples, cinnamon, and flaxseed. It tasted like apple pie. 

 

Total calories: 434.

 

I will update what I will eat for dinner.

I'll try to get back on track tomorrow. I binged on a lot of vegan junk food. I feel so horrible. I hope I didn't derail my progress too much.

so this morning i am 45kg. what the heck. so im gonna exercise for two hours and walk 20K steps and fast 20 hours. im only going to eat one meal under 500 calories.

i exercised for one hour this morning. im going to exercise for another hour in the afternoon after i eat my one small meal. im still fasting and have three hours to go until 20 hours is up. ill keep yall updated.

so i broke my 20 hour fast and eating a small bowl of oatmeal(cooked in soy milk) with apples calories total:354

 

now im going to walk so i can reach 20,000 steps. I have 15,000 steps to go.

Yes last night I reached 20,000 steps. I don't want to  weigh myself today. I am getting too obsessed with the numbers. I will just weigh myself once a week on Fridays. So next time I weigh myself will be next Friday, the 20th.

Sorry, I had a 4 page essay yesterday so I couldn't update.

 

Good morning everyone! I think I'm going to start doing more HIIT. This morning I did not have time to exercise for an hour so I did HIIT for 10 minutes and I am sweating! I also read about the benefits of HIIT so I think I will do that if I am busy with school and can't find time to exercise. I have a test coming up so I can't fast today but I will make sure I fast tomorrow and do OMAD.

For dinner I ate split peas, rice, and some vegetables. Total calories is 458.
