Decided I'll just screenshot my cronometer page instead of trying to add everything up as I type, so 1233 total. I didn't actually burn 1718 today, that's my "moderately active" tdee. On non-work days I think I'm closer to 1400-1500, so this is barely a deficit today but that's ok it averages out that I still lose nice n slow. Tomorrow will be a full shift of lots of lifting (but significantly less walking) so will work out different muscles, always sore after one of these days so I'm looking forward to it.
Also today was probably the most normal day I've ever had, meal wise.
Breakfast was a monster drink
Lunch yogurt with strawberries, granola, chia, and a meringue to make it look pretty :)
Then a built bar, tbh all the flavors kinda taste the same but I love the texture and for 130 calories I'm sold
Dinner was green beans, mushrooms, carrots with 6g butter (!!) and french fry seasoning, the blue berry muffin quest bar, and an unpictured banana.
I estimated that cute little peanut candy as 25 because I have no idea what the name of it is but it was yummy
Then night snack is a sumo mandarin (the best citrus in existence) and 2 pieces crystal ginger plus that vital proteins drink with 10g chia seeds.

Woah I remember contributing to parts 1 and 2 of this thread back in 2015-2016 and following it religiously. Anyway I’m back w/ some steamed vegetables and tofu. df1d15f02a44126dd0d7d5152b963fca.jpg

B - low sugar oats with berries and PB2, coffee with almond milk (250)
L - mixed veg, black bean burger in a low cal pita with spring mix (300)
S - carrots, cheese, crackers (130)
D - cauliflower rice with pepper and corn, chicken (280)
S - tuna and spring mix with sriracha (100)

I also ate four grapes.

Day one of increasing my intake with the goal of maintaining and it went great! I’m so excited to get to eat more and I eventually want to move away from animal products altogether and eat mainly WFPB, which I can’t really do at my current cal limit. I’m also cutting out fake sugars and diet shit to see if that helps my bloating. Feeling really good tonight.

Oh it all went badly! So tough when someone else is prepping your meals! Higher cals than the night before coz more of the filling and big scoops of full cream guacamole this time, I'm gonna guess around 520/530? Thank goodness for OMAD

A pic of a lunch I’ve had some time ago. Weight watchers tortellini + sea weed. (Don’t remember the exact nutrition I believe around 350kcal)

Also guys please help! I’m so anxious: I will need to quit my job tomorrow! And I’m so scared that everybody’s gonna hate me.... also I’m generally terrified of making calls... also I’ll have to come in for another MONTH.... I’m so tired but I can’t even go to sleep cause I can’t stop thinking about my job.

Talking on the phone is super anxiety inducing and that sounds like the worst type of phone call ever :(

Would you mind sharing your recipe?

sure!

for each one you'll need
~35-40g of dried chickpeas
~20g of onions
1/2 a clove of garlic
1/2 tsp of baking soda
salt and spices to taste (this time I used fresh parsley, cumin and coriander)

soak the chickpeas for 24 hours, then rinse them and blend them with the rest of the ingredients. let the mixture rest in the fridge for half an hour, then you can form your burgers and cook them on a non stick pan, oil-free (they might look mushy and like they are going to fall apart, but just wait until one side is fully cooked then flip them, I promise they will hold up better than meat burgers)

since the soaking time is long, I usually make enough for 5/6 at once and then I cook them and I freeze them, or (way more often lol) I just leave the mixture in the fridge and cook each one when I want it
