I'm starting ABC today and hope that making a thread here would keep me accountable. 

I will try to post everyday to keep track of things :) I want to post my calories everyday, but try to reduce weighing myself to only weighing once a week since I get terribly panicky when my weight oscillates and seeing an "unexplained" gain makes me binge :( 
If anyone is also doing it and wants to share experiences here, I'm looking forward to that :)

Starting date: 26.November 2020.
Starting weight: 64kg

Oh, and I also really need to get back into studying and I really need to stop contacting my ex. 
So that's going to be a part of the diet too - every hour of studying "earns" me 100cal (without going over the ABC limit) and if I contact my ex, I fast the next day.
I'm also going to try to not binge for 50 days. So even if I go a little overboard with calories, I will try not to turn it into a binge day.

I really hope I manage too finish it this time. I've started countless things in my life and I never complete anything. I think proving myself I have the willpower for this will be really good for my other goals in life. :)

Day 1 (500cal): 

Breakfast:

tea (0cal)
Lunch:

fish sticks (189)
pickled cauliflower (32)
a drizzle of hot sauce (15)

Snacks: 
2 nestle fitness bars (176)
Dinner:
a tangerine (40)
diet coke(0 I think)

 

Total: 452/500

I think I did well today. I just hope I don't do a late night binge as I often do. But for some reason, I think that posting here will stop me from doing it since I don't want to be embarrassed by having to come here and write I binged. So fingers crossed.
Today was a hard day. I struggle with anxiety and depression so today was one of those days when I have no energy to live. I barely made 2k steps and that only because I hate seeing a 0 on the step counter. 
I also didn't "earn" my food since I only studied for an hour. I hope to study for a little bit more now in the evening, but I'm tired and irritated and I don't really think I'll manage it. On the plus side, I did not go into "crazy ex" calling and texting and being a pain in my ex-bf's ass today, so I get to eat tomorrow.  :D

So I ended up eating the entire night. I still ended up at 1500cal since it wasn’t a binge, it wasn’t uncontrolled. The thing is, I started getting sick (fever, chills, muscle ache) and I always stay sick for way longer if I don’t eat.
So I popped some vitamins and hope it’s not covid 😁. I will start the diet as soon as I’m feeling better, but for some reason I can never diet when sick. My body just asks for food and I’m too weak to deny it. This is so annoying. Last time I was doing ABC, I ended up getting mononucleosis and being forced to eat while forbidden to leave my bed and actually gained a lot of weight which then took ages to lose. It seems whenever I want to start ABC, some shitty luck happens and I have to quit it. I’m so annoyed by this. I wanted to lose 4kg until New Year and was very ready and motivated to start a diet and now this.
But, no point in beating myself now. I will try to get better as soon as possible and then start the diet and still hope to lose at least 2kg.
I weighed in at 63,8 this morning. The goal while I’m sick is just not to gain. I never lose when sick.

I'm feeling a bit better. 
Today I weighed 64,9kg, which is making me really sad. I know that these past few days I didn't go over my TDEE and I got my period yesterday, so it must be period weight, but I'm still sad.

Overall I actually feel like I'm not in the right mental or physical state to do ABC (hello me, giving up again), but I'm going to try ABC+300 which is something I actually did with some success in the past. I'm going to do ABC but add 300 cal to each day. When I restricted in the past, I usually did high restriction (a max of 800cal), so I hope that I can do it :)

Day 1 (800cal) starting today

I’m on day 5 of my diet. I’m currently too sleepy/weak to type it out but I probably will later when my night mania hits. I hope I can stick to it for 14 days at least and get some abs? Who knows

I've been bad :(

Day 1:
Weight: 64,9 kg
Calories allowed: 800
Calories consumed: 1330 
I didn't go over my TDEE but it was still not a good day. 

Day 2:
Weight: 64,3 kg
Calories allowed: 800
Calories consumed: god knows how many

It's the end of day 2, I didn't binge but I did snack on stuff the entire day, without counting or measuring anything. I think I had approximately 2000calories, but I can't be sure. I've really been having a tough time these days. Family issues, ex-boyfriend issues, anxiety, etc. I just can't seem to get back on track. 
I hope I haven't gained too much. Tomorrow is a new day and I'll try to be better.

You can do it! It’s all about mind over matter. Your mentality it everything. I’m on day 9 of ABC and I’ve almost lost 5 lbs already! Try it! You will see results fast!

I know it is about mentality, but I don't do well with low restriction :( I have a tendency to binge more when I go too low. So I added those extra 300 cal and I still keep messing up. :(
Oh well, at least I'm not eating 2500+ calories like I was for the last month or so, so I hope that I can slowly manage to decrease my calorie intake :) 

Wow, you're doing great :) I admire your willpower :)

Calories consumed: so far none, but it's only 3PM where I'm at. I'm going to eat dinner with my family so I'm saving calories for that.
Weight: 63,8kg

I really have to stop weighing myself every day, because I know that any losses/gains that happen in one day aren't real, but I just can't stop doing it. This morning was okay, so at least that's good. I was planning on starting to exercise today, but I still feel shitty because I was sick. Like my throat is kinda sore and I have very low energy and a slight fever. So I guess I'll just take a brisk walk today and see if I can start exercising tomorrow :)

I went over the limit again. But it's still much lower than I used to consume, so I'm okay with this. Most of these calories however came from reaaally unhealthy food, so I should probably change that, but overall I'm happy with today :)
I'm off to study and then take a shower and go to sleep before I get the idea to binge :D
