Hey, ya bitch got covid.

I got a weird amalgamation of symptoms, including a very congested nose. I'm mouth breathing 24/7 and I look stupid. If I sneeze it clears up for about five minutes and then it gets bad again.

Obviously I can't run out and get medicine, so does anyone know a good DIY fixes?

Thank!

run a washcloth under hot water and (careful so you dont burn yourself) hold it over your nose for a bit.

i always do this when im sick and congested and while its not a cure, it will give some well needed relief for a while. and then you can just repeat as needed.

hope this helps and hope you get feeling better asap!

If you’ve got any mint or peppermint, or anything with that type of flavor, it could help. Putting vicks rub on your chest could also help if you have some, but that’s usually used for chest congestion. It could still help though. Otherwise, eating something spicy or with ginger also might help clear your nose up by making it run.

Unfortunately though, nothing will be good as some Sudafed, nasal decongestant spray, or saline spray.

lol I have jalapeño chips left over from a few days ago. I couldn't taste it but it did clear up my nose a little.

I couldn't figure out why my cat wouldn't let me pet her. Spicy fingers.

Thanks for the suggestion!
