I have 40ish lbs left till my ugw I use the online calculators to see how long it’ll take me based on my current calories till I’m at my next goal but idk how accurate they are.
I’m looking for some realistic experiences

Depends on starting weight. I've lost about 90lb from 211 to 117. The last 40 lbs took about 6 months. For what it's worth I'm old and high restrict

I've lost like ~50 since July. Like most answers you'll get on here though it wasn't in the healthiest way - low restriction from 200-600 calories a day and daily exercise for those 5 months with no binges.

i lost 51 lbs in ~7 months.

i ate 800-1200 cals a day, walked to and from school (about 20 mins each way), and didn't exercise outside of that.

I lost over 40 lbs in 2018. I did it with restriction and b/p. It took about 6 months. My eating disorder wasn't as bad back then.

When I first got sick, I lost 40lbs in about 3 months. I did it through eating below 600 cals a day. The 600 cals would be in one meal, at nearly the same time everyday. So my body was in a fasted state for 12 hrs a day, give or take.

Looking back on my Fitbit data, about 5 months, going from starting 246.6 to 206.3.

I walked, and ate less garbage. It’s easy to lose a lot when you’re that heavy though, shit just falls off.

The next month my boyfriend dumped me and I lose my appetite when I’m depressed and I pace when I’m anxious sooooooo... lost like 20 pounds in a month, 3/10 don’t recommend, probably made the breakup feel way worse than it would have if I’d tried harder to take care of my mental health.

It's taken me about two and a half years to lose five stone, but that's because I had periods of time where I maintained for months and wasn't losing.

I think the lower your weight, the harder it is to lose, so it's much easier to lose the first bit than the last bit.

66 lbs took a little over a year

probably would've been faster if I didn't start off slow

Around 6 months on low restriction
Lost 47lbs all together over 10 months but I’m in treatment and eating closer to maintenance so the last 7 have been slower
Stuck on the AN bus since 2012

I lost 52 altogether from 147-95 - gained a couple back since then but that was the total lol

Overall it took maybe 2.5 years but it wasn’t all at once. I lost about 20 and maintained for 6 months or so and then my ED started and I lost to about 105 in 3ish months and the last 10 was over like 6 months cause of binge/restrict cycle and losing super slowly
