I do. I allow myself to lick the spoon as I cook for my kids.

When I cook I surprisingly lose my appetite for the meal, idk why that is but I really don’t feel like eating what I cook. (Maybe bc I hate cooking, or it’s the raw meat lol idk)

The worst part though about family dinners is I feel like I need to eat and set a good example- even though I reeeeally don’t want to usually.

I have 3 young girls in my house, and I do anything I can to promote a healthy relationship with food.

I think either way this is a tricky spot for anyone with kids : /

I also feel like I have to eat. My son always notices me not eating and will sometimes make comments about me not eating.
Raw meat disgusts me too.

Im low restricting at the moment aswell.
And really struggle with hunger. I have a bowl of crunchy lettuce i nibble through whilst cooking.
I tend to only eat between 3pm n 6pm, so l dont feel guilty.

Relatable.

In our house we all eat really differently so usually if I make something for the kids I try to eat at the same time or before I cook.
I get in moods where lots of food just disgusts me so what they eat isn’t too much of a temptation.

Sometimes I’ll be hungry, but making something in the kitchen and then not eating anything feels really good.

I go through this also. If I'm starving, it's hard not to take a bite. Chewing gum while prepping food helps not to snack.
