I tested positive for Covid

I got tested twice in a 2 week span. I was feeling kinda off, had elevated temperature but not really a fever, night sweats, felt tired, had slight headaches. First test was negative, but I started developing more serious symptoms about a week after. I completely lost my sense of smell and partially lost my sense of taste for a couple of days. I had inflamed sinuses and chest heaviness (that I contributed to too much vaping).
Something interesting that I wanna mention is that both times when I started feeling sick I had been taking Ibuprofen for a few days. I read that ibuprofen may make Covid symptoms worse, but since I tested negative the first time, I didn't think twice about taking it. First time I was taking it for my period and second time for my back pain.

Sounds so similar to my experience. The exaustion was so extreme.I tested positive the 18th and man, the first few days were very scary. My heart awas racing and I felt like fainting. I kept an eye on my 02 level and rationed with myself I would be fine if I stayed hydrated and slept as long as my 02 was okay. After 2 days of sleeping I started to feel better. Loss of taste and smell, slight fever, sinus congestion, EXTREME fatigue, chills and headache.. but I'm now on day 5 and feel mostly better. My throat still hurts and I still cant taste or smell anything and am still congested, but I cant wait to test negative and get out of this room! Isolation SUCKS!
I inhaled salt water and that helped so much in the synus area. It doesn't feel like that at first but it shows after a couple of days. Just brought water and table salt to a simmer and tried to breathe the steam in through my nose. Also gargled with mouthwash and some other bacteria and virus killing solution.

Sorry for the late reply! I was considered recovered from covid on Dec 30. I just within the last day or so got my smell and taste back (yay!). I still get tired easily and sleep a lot, but I am so much better

That's a long time to be without senses. Was it horrible or did you get used to it? I'm mostly good but feel weirdly tured some days or like I'm about to get sick again. Nothing alarming though.Sorry for the late reply! I was considered recovered from covid on Dec 30. I just within the last day or so got my smell and taste back (yay!).
