700-800 cals a day and weight plateau.

I’m following a 700-800 calories a day, and so far I lost 3kgs. Unfortunately I’m now stuck at 53kg, and I still need to loose two kg to reach my first gw.
Do u think I need to cut my cals more? Or if I keep this daily amount (which I prefer) eventually I will start loosing again? I’m stuck here since a few days, maybe 4/5 days.
I also thought to have a fast day just to make the weight move, do you think is this gonna work? Any previous experiences?
Also I’m doing some workout every other day, and I wanna keep doing it, that’s why I’d prefer not to cut more (and not to make my bf suspicious).
Thank you so much!

i actually think upping your intake a bit would be more efficient than lowering your calories even more! eating at maintenace for a couple of days and going back to (high) restriction afterwards is what worked best for me in the past. (:

4 or 5 days isn't too bad, but I get the frustration. I'd say to either try upping for a day or, if that makes you too uncomfortable, just continue with your current intake and eventually you will start losing again.

I'm literally just a mess at this point:
-
a dirty or untidy state of things or of a place
-
a situation or state of affairs that is confused or full of difficulties.

Agreed. It's impossible to maintain on 700-800 anyway. If you're too afraid to up your intake just keep it that way and eventually your weight will go down. But it might be beneficial to try, it also works wonders for me

I will keep the intake and keep this thread updated to let know others that might be in the same Situation.
If in 3/4 days I dont see any progress I will try increase the intake for a day!

I'd say to either just keep at it with 700-800 calories until the plateau breaks, or maybe try upping your intake a bit. Also, make sure you're getting enough fibres, and drink a bit more water

Time for a little update:
Still stuck at 53 and I’m not constipated, unfortunately (well, not unfortunately, but if that was the cause it would have been maybe easier to fix my plateau).
I’m keeping sort of same amount of daily calories and my workouts: will let you know as soon as weight goes down (hopefully!)

Since I’m not ready to have more cals yet, I will increase water intake and let you know ♥️

4-5 days is nothing, you're not going to see a loss every.single.day. Give it time and the weight will budge

Let me know if it worked for you as well! Ps. I have no clue how many cals I ate since I didn’t count. Not too many tho, probably a normal, healthy amount

how long did it take to see the drop?I have plateaued again, but last time this happened, I suddenly had a big drop out of nowhere. It’s so frustrating. Like, I’m so hungry and so empty, and the scales are just not budging...
But definitely patience is the key, but arrgghhhhh it’s so hard!!!!

thats great news!! happy for youMorning update (in my time zone at least): after raising the cals intake yesterday and not working out as I’m used to but only walk 10k steps I lost half a kg. Maybe it’s completely unrelated, but I promised updates so...!

yeah whenever i hit a plateau, i eat at my tdee so 1500 cals to break it
once i a really long plateau which lasted like a month. it made me so mad, i planned a binge day where i didnt count calories and just ate lots of food and all my cravings it must have been 3000 calories!! but it was what my body needed because the next day i lost weight
eating abit more always works

I think (my memory is shit) I stayed the same for 5 days in total. I’m back there again right now, and it’s been I think 4 days ♀
