i mean, to some yes but others will say high restriction is 1000-1500cals. personally my goal is 700-900 and i count that as high restriction personally because i used to eat 400-600cals easily.

I consider it high restriction and 800 is my upper limit. More than that in a day and I feel bad like I've binged.

Noooooooo. Typically high restriction is what “normal” dieters will stick to, I think like 1200 cal-just below TDD

I guess it depends on the person. I personally consider 800 on the lowest end of high restricting.

This thread is almost confusing for me. I kinda feel "recovered" or at least like I'm doing much better. But today the Ed was noisier and I thought I was going to low restrict. I ended up eating about 700 and couldn't believe I much I ate. It's comforting to know that ppl would still call that low or at least medium restriction

HW: 186

SW (this relapse): 186.5

LW (this relapse): 161.8

LW (lowest ED weight altogether): 128

CW: 161.8

Current BMI: 27.8

GW: Recovered, I think. I'd love to either get to 120 lb (where I look best- I have a large frame for my weight), or 109- underweight BMI. But recovery is more of a goal...

i think everyone has their own definition of low, med, and high restriction ranges, made evident by the different responses.

for me personally it's in the upper medium range (like 600-800).

800 for me is the highest tier of low restriction. i low restrict, and 800 is my ultimate max calories (usually try to keep it under 500 on average). i won't go over that unless i have a planned binge day. but high restriction is usually closer to 1000-1200 per diem. it is dependent on the person, of course, but 800/day is generally considered part of low restriction.

Medium unless youre tall or an athlete then its low still, maybe medium/high if youre extremely short and sedentary. It just depends on your TDEE ig

Thats medium restriction for me, just above low restriction. High restriction for me is 1000-1300, medium is 700-1000
Low is anything less and f that and feeling like death

Everyone has their own opinion on what high and low-restriction means, personally I say it depends on your tdee more than anything. High-restriction usually indicates a healthy deficit, and that wouldn’t be healthy for most(?) people, so I’m going to go with low or mid-restriction.

I don't think it's high restriction at all.
Just compare it to your tdee and if it's more than half of it it's low restriction pal.
