Idk if you'd be into it but based on the list you prooobably will? Basically: dark ambient, sludge and doom metal (there's some great repetitive stuff that isn't very metal heavy lol). Weedeater, sunn o))), Lustmord etc. For more noise based stuff, Throbbing Gristle's where it's at. If you have Spotify I could send you a playlist?

Also there's some sick Japanese funk/jazz fusion records out there- esp the ones from the 80s tend to have a pretty dreamy vibe while also being really fun and weird. You can find a ton of them on Youtube.

You probably already to listen to her, but SOPHIE's one of my all time faves, especially her early stuff.

Salem and Blvck Ceiling for witchhouse/dark shoegaze, Blvck Ceiling samples pop music a lot though. Salem are I think 2000-2010-ish, but they have such bad sound quality you might think they're from the 90's. Sorry, I realise I'm not selling them, haha.

Silversun Pickups are modern poppy shoegaze, some songs are really good (esp. Seasick ep), but they might be a bit generic and normal for you? Idk. Following for more ideas anyway.

(also, I just discovered The HU! Heavy-ish rock/metal band from Mongolia, who feature some amazing throat singing which is really hypnotic and somehow trancey)

have you had enough, or have you become
