This is going to be my diet journal that goes through what I eat in day in order to get to my goal weight(s). I had these pair of jeans that never really fit me well and because I have essentially all year to get in shape because of COVID, I will take advantage of that and get in shape. I do not have a scale because it broke however, I will be measuring myself at the end of the week to see how far along I am and try on the wrangler jeans to see how close I am to my goal. In terms of measurements, I want at least a 27 inch waist so I can fit into the jeans with more ease but I would love to have a 25 or 24 inch waist, which doesn’t seem like a stretch because I used to wear a size US 0 (pant size 24) and I have pretty narrow hips (34.5 inches) for my size.

(I am skipping the past two days that I’ve dieted bc I have it saved on a journal on my dresser and I don’t feel the need to record it anymore.)

Day Three (03/02) :


Today was kind of an easy day honestly. For breakfast I made myself a smoothie:
- handful of blueberries (actually around like 36 blueberries) (45 cal),
- almond milk (20 cal)
- half a banana (45 cal)
-a scoop of protein powder (80 cal).

It was 160 calories all together and sooo good. Kinda tasted like blueberry banana cake ✨.

Afterwards (around 1 o’clock), I worked out on my cycle for about 40 minutes. It was at moderate speed so I wouldn’t pass out and I kept the TV on so I could focus on something else. I burned about 170 calories and then took a nap afterwards.

At around 7:30, I ate a moderate bowl of pasta with
spinach, hatch pepper and cream sauce and a small serving of pan seared chicken (about 1/3 of chicken breast). I got the recipe off of a website and the recipe says one serving is 556 calories with a full chicken breast and more sauce than I used. My mom used slightly different ingredients but I trust her bc she’s on a diet as well. I still counted it as 556 bc of those different ingredients (sour cream and different type of pasta + Latino sazón sauce). I spent the day doing hw on my bed so I’m glad that the bike is helping move my lardy legs at least once in the day.

CALORIE TOTAL FOR TODAY (including gummy vitamins for health):
600 calories

Not bad today, feels a little bad considering the yesterday was 447 calories and the day before was 500 but it is less than my ultimate caloric intake for the day (700 cal). Everything is going good so far.

For today’s breakfast, I started off with a kiwi and mango smoothie with just a sprinkle of chia seeds for some crunch. If he smoothie kept me full for a long time and helped my bm. After breakfast, I basically napped the whole day and let myself become a lil lazy. I was really fiending for something else today but I tried to keep it down with my vita gummies and water. I actually almost forgot to workout today! Beforehand I had two cheesy bread bite (87 cal) and then I was cycling at a moderate speed for about 1 hour and burned 200 calories. Afterwards, I ate dinner with my mom. I basically played around with my food and didn’t eat anything besides the veggies she gave me. I had sautéed zucchini (58 cal) and sautéed Swiss Chard (80 cal). I also had two other cheesy bread bites (87 cal) and some blueberries (45) and a sprinkle of granola my mom made that she wanted me to try (50). I felt good today in terms of food but lowkey didn’t finish any hw today hahah.

Kiwi Mango and Chia Seed Smoothie (180 cal)

Sautéed Swiss Chard (80 cal)

Sautéed Zucchini (58 cal)

4 cheesy bread bites (174 cal)

Blueberries (45 cal)

Granola (50 cal)

Today was kind of a hard day because my mom made calzones and bread is my worst enemy 😩. I had a mango and guava smoothie (well really baby food concoction) and a vegetarian calzone. I then exercised for about an hour with extra pressure on the pedals of my cycle in order to burn more calories. I also had a date today.

Mango & Guava Smoothie (170 cal)
Vegetarian Calzone (525 cal)
Dried Date (60 cal)
Minus the 1 hour of cycling (-300 Calories)

I had to take my graduation photos today so I had an excuse not to eat for a while. My best friend says that my face looks slimmer already and my skin is clearing up so this diet is really working well. For my first meal of the day, I had a oat milk brown sugar shaken espresso from Starbucks which was amazingly only 120 calories and tasted sooo good. Like a cinnamon donut! And then I had a chicken sandwich I made myself which was 350 calories. All together I had about 470 calories today. I didn’t exercise because I was really busy the whole day so I didn’t have enough time but tomorrow I’ll exercise. Good job today! I’m almost one week on this diet. 13 more weeks until I hypothetically reach my goal weight <3

I slept in late today so I didn’t eat breakfast and my mom had a nervous attack and started giving us all attitude hence I didn’t eat lunch either because of how irritated I was. I had a guava juice (195 cal) and a cream bun (265) for the entire day. Grand total today including vitamins are 470 calories. My body looks a tad bit leaner and my waist measurement is reduced my half an inch. I found a scale but it doesn’t work so idk how I’m gonna measure this weight loss. Guess I’ll just keep restricting until I fit into those pants + more 🤷‍♀️.

I wanted to eat more today. I had a pancake breakfast this morning with two flapjacks (140), one slice of turkey bacon (25), some eggs (120) and a little bit of maple syrup (180). I feel gross though since maple syrup is one my triggering foods because of how calorific it is. However, I had a little less than usual. Then I had a small serving of stir fried veggies and noodles (200) and two fortune cookies (60). I worked out for two hours on my cycle and burned all the calories. Then I had some pineapple (121) and three sun chips (27 cal) to curve my cravings. All together, I had 203 calories in total (plus gummy vitamins lol). Also it’s been a week since I started dieting <3

So I exercised a fuck ton today. I had a dragonfruit and guava smoothie (170 cal), a piece of fajita (140 cal) and some coleslaw (122 cal). Then my mom made some skinny brownies made of sweet potato (80 cal) which were pretty good and fulfilling. The recipe is only 64 calories for a square and I had one and a third and it tools away my cravings all day. I also had a date on top of it just to add some “caramel” to it (corny ik). Afterwards, I exercised a fuck ton on my bike and burned about 755 (!!) calories which ultimately depleted all the calories I ate so I had to make sure I ate something. I had 1 and a half butter cookies (46 cal) and some lavender tea with monkfruit sugar (1 cal). I also had two chocolate almond (28) because my dad offered me some. In total, I had 700 calories today but technically had 75 calories 🧍‍♀️. I don’t feel like it’s true; I might eat a banana to equal things out but I feel guilty. But in total, 700 calories in all (Actually 75).

Yesterday I got my period so today I decided to eat more in order to make up for the two very low calorie days I had. I had one broiled egg in the morning (120 cal) with a piece of cheese (30 cal). I had to run some errands in the morning with my mom so I burned some calories running around. She was hungry though and I couldn’t feign satiety so I shared a burger with her (250 cal) and had a low calorie fizzy lemonade (10 cal). For dinner, I decided to end strong and ate some chicken breast (120 cal), broccoli salad (176) and two butter cookies (48) with tea (1 cal). All together I had 755 calories today. Today was a good “cheat” day to combat my period. 755 is very good considering I’m on my period with cravings. I’m already seeing results and my jeans fit looser. I will update this post if I exercised or not but at the moment I feel quite dizzy and unable to exercise.
Update: Did 45 minutes on my cycling bike; My new total is 334 calories.

Today is again another day of me being full of cramps and blood. I had a banana (90) in the morning and a bite of a vegan taco (60). For my last meal, I had a plant based vegan burger with a few fries (550). I then worked out on my cycle for about an hour and burned 466 calories. I then ate two chocolate almonds (28) and two nut thins (12) to curve my cravings for the night. In total, I’ve had 270 calories (plus vitamins) as my grand total. Two more days till I complete two weeks ❤️.

I pigged out today and had a broccoli & cheese soup made with a food processor (166 calories) and a sourdough roll (120). Then I had two taquitos (248 cal), some chocolate almonds (42) and half a sheet of soy crisp (40) with peanut butter (80). Together I had 696 calories. Afterwards, I exercised for an 1 hour on my bike and burned 600 calories. Afterwards, I had a ten calorie juice (10) and a slice of lemon (5). Together, I had 111 calories today.

Today was my cheat day since I went skipping with my friends and I didn’t wanna seem weird and not eat/be frugal with them. I had breakfast with them at ihop and had half my order of strawberry crepes (195) and three cups of black coffee. We then went talking for about hour or so around the mall which burned about 100 calories or so. I then went to eat some chicken with my mom which was about 193 calories + a Frappuccino (260 cal) my dad bought me which was really nice and made me feel warm and bubbly. I also had boiled potatoes (80). All together my total was 728 calories and I had burned about 100 so I had 628 total. I won’t exercise today since I showered like three times today and I don’t want to damage my skin. I’m surprised that with enough strictness and dieting that I’m able to not gorge so much. My friends said I look thinner than my mom made comments that my stomach look flat and defined.


Status update: I’m tempted to take laxatives rn 😃🔫

Yesterday, I didn’t take laxatives; today I might 🙃. I skipped breakfast this morning and ate some fast food with my mom for lunch. I had 3 chicken nuggets (176) and I shared a packet of small fries (195) with my mom. Afterwards, I had a few cookies (80 cal) with my brother and went to entertain the guests we had over. I had to eat or else my mom would’ve started looking at me funny the whole night. I ate a small part of chicken breast and a wing (180 cal), a portion of yellow rice (200 cal) and a tortilla (110 cal). I drank no soda and instead had candy (170 cal) my friend offered me. I felt guilty denying so I went with the flow. I also had a bit of sugared mango (didn’t like it, about 120 cal bc of how calorific it was). All together, I had 1,120 calories today. I’m definitely gonna go on my bike today after the halfway binge I had today. It’s not as bad considering I’ve eaten less than 400 calories for two weeks but I don’t want to give up today, especially considering that I didn’t work out yesterday.

Status update: Worked out on my bike for an hour and burned 577 calories. New total is 600 calories. Might exercise more later for even more calories to be burned.

I got back on track today. I had half a sweet potato with splenda, cinnamon and a teaspoon and a half of substitute butter (140). Afterwards, I had a tostada with chicken and salsa with beans (400 cal). I then had a few chocolate almonds (60) and a ten calorie drink. I worked out on my bike for an hour and burned 566 calories. In total, my total is 34 calories. I’m going to have a tea with creamer atm which will make my total 66 cal. Good day today and I no longer have a muffin top on a pair of my tighter jeans. I believe my waist has shrunken by an inch. I can’t wait till I fit my wrangler jeans so I can start wearing cuter stuff 😌✨

I had a lot more than I should today because I felt the urge to binge. In the morning, I had half a sweet potato with cinnamon and Splenda (80) and a nutrigrain bar (100) that I though would be enough. But then I binged on a popsicle (70) and a chicken tomato and feta pasta (659) that I thought I would’ve eaten half of. I’m gonna workout for an hour to try to deplete at least half the calories but I feel extremely guilty for even eating that much. An hour after this post, I will hopefully be down 568 calories to restrict my grand total to 341. I hope tomorrow I have self control because I will be going out with my friend and I would hate to look like a piggy in front of her.

Status Update: New total is 341 :)

Today I went shopping with my friend. I felt good because my friend said I looked skinnier and I fit into a pair of kids shorts since the regular ones were too expensive. I had a banana (90) and an espresso (120) while we were at the mall and we walked about 3 1/2 miles. When I came back home, I ate a caribbean style shrimp and grits bowl with some rice (555). In total, I am going to count today as 565 calories (256 calories burned because of walk). I definitely felt pretty good today and got compliments on my outfit. Today was a good day. This makes 16 days of dieting 💕. Can’t wait till I finish this month and start the next.

Finishing today early because I ate a lot today. I had two pancakes for breakfast (350) and a popsicle (170). Then I worked out by doing Yoga and some band exercises which burned about 156 cal and then did an hour on my bike, which burned 406. That burned about 562 calories, which put me with the total -44 calories. Then I ate a burger, which was 352 calories in total. That makes my grand total 352.

Today was another day of eating a lot and working out a lot. In the morning, I had a piece of toast with some jam and a butter substitute (175) with a piece of Spanish tortilla (175). In the afternoon, my mom delivered me and my brother McDonald’s and I had a mcchicken (357) and small french fries (230). Then I worked out for about 90 minutes in my bike (836 calories burned). I also had a popsicle (70) today when I got the news that I got accepted into my reach university :). I’m so happy for myself and I hope for only greatness to come. My total is 357 calories today.

Today I didn’t work out but I didn’t have much to eat. I had a sandwich around the afternoon (220 cal) and a shaken espresso from starbucks later (120). Afterwards, I had some rice my mom made (300 cal) and a chunk of steak (60). That makes my grand total today 700 calories. Progress is happening bc my size 2 jeans are fitting looser. Literally have been dieting for almost a month! Can’t wait till this month is over so I can check out my progress.

Worked out very for little time (35 minutes) but I had essentially one normal sized meal today. I had a smoothie and a popsicle (260) in the morning and burned it all in a 30 minute bicycle ride which burned 324 calories. I had three slices of veggie pizza without cheese and very light tomato sauce (628 calories) and capped it at that. So 628 is my grand total. I wish my calories were lower today but at least I worked out and stayed under 700. Hopefully I can eat 300 cal tmmrw with the help of some exercise. I also pledged my college today y’all <3.

Even though I hate to say it, today I had binged. I was starting out really well today but I had went to watch a movie with my parents and it all went to hell. I took some laxatives atm and my stomach will hate me in the morning just as much as I will. I’m fasting tmmrw and possibly for the day after because today was terrible.
