Hey there! My name is Kay and I've been lurking on this forum for a while! I've made multiple attempts in the past to get down to my ideal weight; however, I work a government-level job, I have a partner, I own a small [lingerie] businesses and my own home. These factors in my life have caused me to develop BED and MDD with manic episodes and bouts of bulimia. It is NOT my goal to become 100lbs or less, it's my goal to become comfortable with my body and able to look at myself in the mirror again. I have loving and supportive family members who are by my side 24/7 - although they don't support me in the [weight loss] ways I need them to! Regardless, this is an individual journey I must take on myself. In this thread, you'll see tons of great photos and evidence that I am being accountable for my diet.
The goal is to reach optimal fitness and comfort in my own skin again. Weight wise the goal(s) as follows:
GW - 160lbs
UGW - 130lbs
Why 160lbs as my goal weight?
Due to my natural hourglass figure, at 160lbs I am very thin and very shapely. At my current weight, my figure is barely there but with some refinement, getting it to that point is a dream.
Why 130lbs as my ultimate goal weight?
Because I know this weight would make me ridiculously shapely and thin and I think it would be a great weight to encourage myself to be way more proactive in my community and in my environment.

Day 1: One strawberry shake (OptiFast - 160 calories) + one apple (gala apple - 95 calories)
Day 2: One vegetable soup mix (OptiFast - 160 calories) + one stick of celery (10-16 calories) OR one carrot (2-6 calories)
Day 3: One strawberry shake (OptiFast - 160 calories) + one cup steamed cauliflower (62 calories)
Day 4: One vegetable soup mix (OptiFast - 160 calories) + one cup of plain jasmine rice (204 calories)
Day 5: One strawberry shake (OptiFast - 160 calories) + two clementines (70 calories)
Day 6: One vegetable soup mix (OptiFast - 160 calories) + one apple (gala apple - 95 calories)
Day 7: One strawberry shake (OptiFast - 160 calories) + one cup steamed cauliflower (62 calories)
Week one will also include the following PER DAY: 1 liter of water, one multivitamin, one vitamin C gummy 250mg (20 calories), one spirulina 500mg (10 calories), one D3 5000 IU (125mcg), and a natural sleeping aid.
I will also take one TABLESPOON of Calm Magnesium powder (Nutranext Business, laxative) every other day.
Are you advertising OptiFast?
Hell no. It's gross as hell and expensive, but I bought a lot (A LOT) of it some months back and I need to use it up. It's a good meal replacement because it has most nutrients the body requires.
Also, the shake mix and soup mix do not have any additional dried fruits or vegetables in them. They're purely powder.
What tools will you be using?
I am using Calorie Counter + on the Google Playstore. 100% love it and do recommend for calorie counting.
I am also using ArtPlanet's Sticky Characters sticky notes app for personal reminders.
30 mins a day on my exercise bike
25 sit-ups upon waking up, 25 sit-ups before going to bed
50 wall squats
For my job, I have to travel often. In the event I'm traveling and a gym isn't accessible I will alternate my 30 mins on a bike for 50 additional lunges and 50 additional squats.
