usually i don't eat anything until 11am or later so breakfast is basically just black coffee for me

I usually save my meals for later in the day when I'm more hungry (low appetite in the morning) but if I have a big day ahead I might have:
 

  • just fruit or fruit with greek yogurt (when I'm doing dairy) or almond/soy/coconut yogurt (when I'm not)
  • 3 eggs+tumeric scrambled w/ spinach, salsa, green onions, and nutritional yeast on top
  • smoothie w/ banana, berries, spinach, whatever I have on hand really & maybe peanut butter or protein powder 
  • on a special occasion I might make shakshuka or some sort of hash with sweet potatoes and peppers and eggs. I love to make my boyfriend greasy, extravagant breakfasts but then I have to eat them myself!
  • I used to have avocado toast w/ a poached egg on top or a rice cake with sliced boiled egg or avocado or hummus or feta spread or whatever I have on hand (I think grains hurt my stomach so I haven't had this in a while)
  • on the go I would just have a protein or cliff bar

 

sometimes I just have my breakfast for lunch or dinner  :P I really like fruit and eggs

Whatever I eat usually involves something with eggs. I mix it up a bit, but today I had two eggs scrambled with some butternut squash coated in cinnamon along with some hazelnut flavored black coffee.
