Hmm this sounds fun hehe i'll go!!

1. purple sweet potatoes - steaming is the best!! I'm literally obsessed with steamed potatoes LOL

2. bananas - I wait until they're rly ripe and freeze them!! bananas taste like ice cream when frozen :P

3. tofu - so many ways to cook tofu! recently I made "spam" tofu musubi and it was so good! Also planning on cooking BBQ tofu some time this week. Whenever I have chip cravings, I try to season my tofu similarly to the chip flavor I'm craving as well!!

4. kabocha/butternut squash - one of my favs!! bake it, roast it, steam it, or turn it into a creamy comfy soup <3

5. veggies - I never go a meal without veggies. I like steaming mine or "roasting" them in WATER! yes water! I don't need to use oil and it doesn't dry out. all u have to do is add ur seasoning, mix mix with some water and pop in the oven for 25 min at 400F. keep checking - if it looks dry, add or spray water.

Ah this is so far the first topic here where I loooove all the foods everyone else has posted ha ha :)

Anyway, my list is:
1. Carrots
2. Tofu
3. Chickpeas
4. Soy crumbs
5. Sauerkraut

And as food the bonus points: I am quite a lazy person in kitchen so I usually just boil the carrots and chickpeas, roast the tofu on pan or oven, soak the soy crumbs and add it all together with sauerkraut or kimchi on top!

Are you talking about the ones that are white inside? I love those, so much better than the ones that have orange inside imo. But in the US, those are more common

I'm talking about the ones that are purple outside AND inside! You should totally try if you haven't already. They are called Japanese Okinawan sweet potatoes :) These are superior to all potatoes imo hehe but yes I agree any sweet potato is better than the orange one  :D

i was really hoping you were gonna say those sweet potatoes!! they are AMAZING, i first had them in Japan - they were roasting them right in the store and it was so sweet and jammy, like eating pure gold. And Ive been recreating them at home in my air fryer and it's glorious!
