Last time I did keto I practically lived off chicken, bacon, cheese and eggs. Now im plant based, but would love to do a short term keto crash to drop more weight since being stuck in a plateau.
Has anyone done keto whilst vegan? What did you eat?

I'm sort of doing something similar right now, basically at the moment I'm on a liquid fast/diet that is vegan and low carb

first off I'm drinking a lot of water, tea, lemon water, also coffee etc. but I've also incorporated protein shakes (unsweetened almond milk, soy protein powder and frozen strawberries) and unsweetened soy milk

other things that could be eaten on a vegan keto diet are for example tofu, broccoli, cauliflower, greens, nuts too specifically almonds because I think they're lowest in carbs, berries.. oh and you could do a low carb hot chocolate with unsweetened cocoa powder and unsweetened soy/almond milk

I haven't exactly tried this out so I can't say much, but it seems effective and pretty healthy!

With keto the most important components are the protein and fat...so some good vegan sources of those would be -

  • Tofu
  • Coconut oil
  • Olive oil
  • Flax seeds
  • chia seeds
  • sugar free dark chocolate
  • olives
  • avocados
  • hemp seeds
  • MCT oil
  • Nutritional yeast
  • Nuts/nut butters without sugar
  • Most vegan protein powders (check the carb content)

Other than those, it would come down to checking individual carb content of vegetables you want to eat.

Thomas Delauer did a vegan keto week on YouTube you can look for the video. He is basically the keto God. He's not vegan himself but made video's about it.

You can't wake up
