a meal i eat almost every single day is just roasted vegetables. i roast a bunch of broccoli, cauliflower, brussels, zucchini, bell pepper, carrots, and onion and then top it with a little nutritional yeast and its under 200 cal for a huge plate :) vegetables are amazing if you can season them correctly

I have 2: one is my protein shake. I drink it every single day to break my fast: Sunwarrior protein powder, spirulina and chlorella powder, 1 banana, celery, and 2 cups almond milk (260 calories).

My other safe food is my salad that I eat every day, a couple hours after having my protein shake: spinach, kale, raw red onion, cooked mushrooms, beets, raw bell pepper, and some kind of fat source, either 1/4 avocado or 1tbsp of seeds.
Dressing is mustard (currently stone ground) diluted with vinegar

Those are the two meals that I eat every day and they are safe for me :)

My recent safe food is shirataki noodles with samyang sauce.

I thought I hated the shirataki noodles but I prepared them totally wrong. When prepared right they actually are good!!

So now I can make vegan noodles with 42 calories for 200gr included spicy sauce!! I'm thrilled.

Lentils are safe-ish. I ate so many lentils during the winter but now that the weather is getting hotter, I don't like eating them anymore.

My current safe foods are lots of vegetables and fruit...as per usual. Mostly spinach, lambs lettuce, cherry tomatoes, eggplant, strawberries, grapefruit, lemons etc. Every once in a while, I have plain soy yogurt and add some fruit to them. I'm trying to incorporate more iron & protein dense food but they all seem to be fear foods due to having too much calories...

Omg thank you so much! This is so helpful! I’ve made this bbq tofu once and it was good but I’ve never tried baking it!! I’ll def try that recipe!! My only think is I can’t do oil, that’s one of my fear foods and so I was trying to find a way to cook it without using oil and you hit the jackpot on that one! Thank you

Congee (seriously I know people think omg rice) buttt it expands the more you boil it. I literally just boil some water, 50g of rice (uncooked), half an onion, spices and veggie stock boom a filling meal for around 250 calories or less depending on the rice you use (you can even use brown rice). It's literally a huge bowl

sweet potatoes for dayssssssssss

I like coconut milk, dont like almond milk tbh...also lower cals 50 cals per around 250 ml which is nice..

Oatmeal because hella filling

apples

did i mention sweet potatoes? Because SWEET POTATOES ARE AMAZING I SWEAR :'D

Spinach <3 i usually just add some salt and spices to it, and its nice as it is..

Lentils, Beans.

Whole foods are amazing.

Kiwis :3

ugh the list can go on....

I also like whole wheat pasta (fettucini), I count how many strings go in the pot and make sure it doesnt equal to more than 150 cals (around 40-60 strings uncooked, plus the plain tomato sauce)= 200 cals

Dark chocolate is also a safe food for me (has to be 80-85% cacao only because any less than that it ttriggers a binge) It helps me get rid of my sweet cravings.

I’ve never tried tofu (newly vegan!) but looking for some good recipes if anyone has any!
6ft 1 -185cm
CW 8st 4 - 116lbs
HW 10st 6 - 156lbs
GW- more than this because it sucks. But also less than this because I’m curious.

I updated my signature because I forgot it was a thing and just laughed at my old GWs. I look hurrendous ✌️.

Really anything pure and cooked with minimal amounts of olive oil is my safe food. I love baked potatoes, all the veggies, tofu. I import a top quality extra vergine olive oil from Italy, I use it for pretty much everything.

I love oatmeal and soy milk. Oatmeal is my favorite to-go breakfast. I use one tablespoon of oats, one tablespoon of chia seeds, add few corn flakes, and pour soy milk on it. Stir nicely, then I leave it overnight. In the morning I add blueberries or kiwi, or any other fruit I have. It's very tasty and filling.

I also love making milkshakes on soy milk - I always have some frozen spinach, I add fresh or frozen fruits, a banana always for some sweetness, and some supplements, such as powdered sprouts/veggies/algae.

Pure, vegan, low-kcal foods that I can tell that have no empty calorie in them is my ultimate safe food. I start getting weird when it comes to eating more processed things, like pasta, tortilla, etc. I can't always eat it.

Mostly apples (I cut them into cubes and boil few minutes with cinnamon and ginger so I can have a warm meal lol), also nectarines.

I eat almost everyday some kind of vegan stew: chopped zucchini, onion, peppers, garlic, all lightly fried and then cooked in tomato passat + a lot of seasonings. Tastes awesome!
