Ok, so, am I the only one? I'm not sure if this is normal at low restriction, below 600cal daily, but does any one else experience, or know why I'm experiencing MAJOR tummy trouble?
Talking gas
Bloating
Diharea that's mostly water (tmi I apologize)
Just pain from all the damn gas and bloating
Wondering if it's low calorie for a long time? Or should I be taking a probiotic to help?

This is very common! I developed gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying) and gastritis (inflammation of stomach lining) because of my anorexia.
The decreased use of the stomach muscles causes them to basically get lazy and forget what to do, and as a result food will sit in the stomach for much longer than normal. This leads to horrendous physical symptoms such as the bloating, burping and gas, constipation and/or diarrhoea, and severe pain.

I have been treated for it in the past with medications that speed up stomach emptying (one brand name is Motilium), but after 5 more years of AN I have fucked my stomach again.

I definitely recommend seeing your doctor as they will be able to help and probably give you a script for motility medication :)

Yep this is gastroperesis sadly none of the anti emetics or kinectic agents work for me so I will probably have to get a feeding tube. I basically live off ensure and popsicles and small ass portions. unless I purge because my stomach can’t handle volume sometimes I will even puke back up liquids it’s awful.

I get the bloating and diarrhea. It sucks very much especially when you don't know which it will be. I don't think that probiotic would really help. I heard that your body might adjust or just supplement with prebiotic fiber like 100% fiber supplements. This happens to me when I fast for extended periods, so it definitely has to do with the low-calorie/low food intake because the bowels have no other way to get rid of that liquid without fiber and undigested food that is not going through your body anymore.

My GI specialist talked to my doctor today and they are trying one more drug mestinon. I am scared bc the side effects are GI irritating. My doctors at home want me to have a PEJ placed because I purge so I wouldn’t be able to get an NJ tube.

I tried a probiotic and it seems to be helping a little with the gas, fingers crossed

There's a tea you can drink when fasting that will keep your stomach moving (green tea?). I did a spiritual fast of no food for a week and that was a "first fruits fast" a book from a evangelist preacher. I don't recommend fasting like that. I don't low restrict, I eat at least 1200 calories a day, but at my job I walk about 5 miles a day, or 10 to 16,000 steps. If you can, try to intermittently low restrict and on some sort of schedule slightly increase calories for a day or two in between low restrict days. You could probably maintain and hopefully have less pain. Wishing all the best.
