Is eating boogers and bits of skin (loose lip skin, the flaps that happen next to finger nails) considered a category of pica?

I don't consider myself to have pica but I do the same. It's a residual habit from when I was a kid that I never broke, I don't think it's psychologically tied to anything for me.

I don't think so to be honest, it's more of,, wanting to eat like candle wax and things that you literally shouldn't eat, even stuff like paper or something.
I mean tbf, you could eat skin, not much different of chicken skin I guess (gross but,, isn't it true tho?) and could also be part of anxiety and stuff like, lip biting, chewing on finger nails, biting the skin off the finger nails etc, it's more of a habit thing or anxiety thing imo

idk, I'm not a professional so please 100% correct me if i'm wrong but this is how I rationalize my own habits.

I have dermatillomania which means I pick at my skin, scabs, acne, boogers, all of it. Sometimes, I eat those things once they've been picked. I see this a continuation of my dermatillomania.

However, sometimes I pick for the express purpose of eating scabs. Like I crave scabs (sorry gross lol). This I consider as being more of a pica thing, where I'm actively craving a nonfood substance.

i'm pretty sure thats just dermatophagia, whether that itself is a subcategory of pica im not sure but usually pica is non living things like plastic, paper, glass etc.
