Are there any runners/ athletes here who went vegan or plant based? Did this affect your recovery and performance? 

Any other positives or benefits you can share? 

 

I am a runner and some days I have zero energy and stamina.

 

I remember watching Game Changers on Netflix and how they said the plant based athletes have better recovery, performance and stamina. 

 

I wanted to ask y'all if that is true in your own experience too?

Hi, I’m a long distance runner and i for sure agree I think bc I was eating more Whole Foods that processed dairy/meat doesn’t provide in nutrients it def helped my performance

Make sure you're eating enough calories to support your activity level. Try adding everything you eat in a day to Cronometer and seeing what you may be lacking.
