Oh yeah, we had a thread like this but you would have to go back several pages to find it. It’s good you made a new one; I was always annoyed going back to find it.
I’m sitting at between 148 and 149 at the moment, high restricting, exercising, and losing about a pound or so a week. So I’ll probably be here for a while lol. I remember I was in the 150s for almost 2 months and it was torture. But I feel like this will be more sustainable over time. Even though it’ll take me the better part of a year to reach my goal weight (around 115-120), I know this is something I can keep up long term.
What are you doing for weight loss these days?

I'm really just doing cico. I read Conquering Fat Logic by Nadja Hermann and remembered that I used to naturally have many small behaviors that kept me in a decent weight range despite my binging problems. Until I met my hubs that is! Over time (15 yrs) I started eating more bec he really likes us to always eat together and eat the same thing. So much so that he's a meat eater but eats vegan around me so we "match." Lol we sound weird, but whatever. Anyway, I finally had a successful confrontation with him about this and then I started with a calorie limit of 1200, but was consistently eating below that everyday. I realized an 800 calorie limit wouldn't be a problem for me, so that's what I've been doing. I'm losing slowly tho bec I'm old and I've made a strategic decision to limit exercise while I'm reducing to avoid injury etc. I do still workout some, mostly yoga, and it's so weird, but my Galaxy watch always tells me that the calories burned during my yoga are higher than the calories I burn running! So I really don't care about exercise anymore
I've tried cico in the past but always with really cheap food scales. This time I upgraded to a decent scale (Tanita) and it's made all the difference. Now that I can get reasonably accurate weights, I've been able to address all the really dumb mistakes I was making. Because my tdee is relatively low, it's easy to go over by a couple hundred calories or so a day. That was enough to keep me from losing weight. I'm so done with all that tho! For the first time in a long time, I feel confident I can get to my goal weight.
