Omg you guys! I have a 14 yo daughter and 12 yo twin boys. After carrying babies, breastfeeding, and major weight fluctuations over the years, I have a lot of loose skin on my stomach and my breasts are very saggy. After over a decade of saving up, I finally have the money for a tummy tuck and breast lift!! I'm going to be spending the summer getting in the best shape possible and then the surgery is happening in September!!! I'm bursting with joy!! I know that plastic surgery is not right for everyone and there are risks involved, but I have wanted this for myself for so long and I've worked so hard to achieve this goal and I could not be happier!!

Im so proud of you! Glad you're going to do smt that you enjoy and will make you feel 100% better for yourself.

If my mother made a decision like that you better bet that i would support her!

All i can say is do a looot of research and make sure you go to the best doc! I'm sure there are a lot of videos and articles online and make sure to be honest with your doctor.

Thanks for the positivity and support!

I am absolutely OBSESSED with research right now. My first goal is to get into the best shape I can before the surgery. This means eating a healthy balanced diet, exercising a few times a week, and keeping up with therapy and meds to make sure I don't "fall down the rabbit hole" (I AM on MPA after all, and i didn't end up here by accident). I will also be stocking up on all the post OP necessities and have already researched doctors in my area.

I have chosen an incredible surgeon and I'm so excited that he is close to home. He's a bit more expensive, but I'm perfectly fine with paying a little more for quality work. He's the head of plastic surgery at one of our states largest hospitals and has even invented a medically published procedure for belly button reconstruction during tummy tuck procedures. I know he'll do a great job.

I'll be sure to come back and update you all on my preop progress and the surgery itself.

Should I post some before, during, and after photos?

I am so glad to hear that you've done research! It's always scary seeing people anywhere who haven't done that first and just assume it's a doctor so it's fine.

I think you should definitely post the photos and anything else along this journey.

This is a current pic of my tummy. Side view included. I will post weight loss pics along the way and will post recovery pics after the surgery as well.

Thanks for all the support and well wishes!20f8a150390b2052cae220fa5f18f770.jpg2740bd0a94bba288f94c41561cf7a2fe.jpg
