There are many opinions on how mono's don't lead to weight loss bla bla bla.

But rather than looking at the small picture let's look at the bigger picture.

1) you get to have a variety of food without the need to obsessively count calories

2) your mind is more relaxed because there are not many meal choices. You only have one meal choice and that is: the respective mono food

3) you get rid of cravings.

So, If you have a high bmi like mine: 23. Doing monos i think is good only for a start. because when i was at a lower bmi 18, I stuck only to fruit and veggie monos. Maybe some keto monos, but no sugar monos (maybe once a month)

I like to combine mono with fasting. AKA I will fast for 20-22 hours after each mono and eat the next mono after that fast.

I like having one meal rather than spacing it out i noticed that helps with my sugar levels.

I also like to plan so if i ramble a lot here on my plans please ignore me

Sorry guys cause of my period i postponed it a bit.  but im back...why do i like mono diets?

well they remind me of a dark period in my life. back when i wanted to kill myself so much for being so ugly fat...i was 15, puberty had not hit. I was the ugliest girl in class i swear.......... some guys were even prettier than me,

After using mpa for a bit, fasting restricting i was losing weight in a very slowish way. There are people here who eat 800 for a couple of months and have an underweight bmi, for me? 500cals/day and id either maintain or lose 1lb...and after two weeks of that i'd be soo tired of restricting i'd binge and gain it back if not maybe gain more.

I officially started losing noticeble weight when i'd mono for weeks to end.

I remember:

one day eat yogurt

three days eggs

one day chocolate

one day apples

one day bananas...

so on and so on.

I reached 65kgs. so i would lose around 1-0.5kgs per day.

anyways that was a mini story on why i kinda wanna persist with monoing to lose the weight i got from bingeing. I know that when i reach 60kgs I will have to fast my ass off to get lower than that cause thats where my body is the most comfortable...If i fast now i think it would slower my rate of weight loss.

Peanut Butter mono Results

5/8 weigh in GAINED 0.4KGS.

Notes:

I fasted until 1pm: Ate my peanut butter until 5pm.

Now im fasting again, chugging water. NO hunger, no dizziness , I feel more than fine. So far the most painless mono ever. Eggs left me craving more. Peanut butter satisfied all cravings but kinda nauseous... :')

TMI had A BM at 6pm...

5/8 MONO Break

Going to Flensburg tomorrow for sight seeing with my friend and we kind of discussed roughly that we will be having lunch by the sea together. I will have some skyr yogurt with coffee in the morning before departing. and one meal consisting of a salad.

No more unhealthy monos. I think I've gotten rid of most of my cravings for now.

edit: meals i had

breakfast: skyr yogurt

lunch: beer+ avocado burger and fries

dinner: :') oreos....

well i wont be weighing myself tomorrow hah.

um...please dont take it personally...being on mpa, i've noticed people say the same thing "im so big" and proceed to post pics of having a bmi of 13.  Not saying that its a good/bad thing, but its the internet. i'm sure that you'll find way worse being on here,..

But, what i meant initially in my post is :" if you have a bmi of 23 and higher doing monos is a good start. (Monoing when your bmi is at 21 is kinda risky)". thats what i meant when i said "if your bmi is as high", should have said "if ur bmi is higher than "

but not everyone's native language is english! and not everyone makes posts on mpa on the best state of mind.

Sorry bout that. i'll try to be careful with my phrasing

not my biz to butt in but u shouldnt have to explain your self. i have a bmi of 23 and while its "average", to me its fucking high because i hate my body. we all obv have some sort of issue with food so everything is distorted. i mean come on theres ppl with low as fuck BMI's (16 and under)  posting in body checks and saying how fat they are. come on guys this is a place where ppl come one with all diff types of eating issues/disorders and it is none of our places to judge. kthanxbye.
