For example: When I first begin a restriction phase, I won't really feel like I'm actually committed until day 5 or 6 of doing really well.

After that, it feels much easier to continue to restrict. For those first few days everything feels unstable, like I could cave easily into binge-eating...

Sometimes I feel like it just takes so many tries of consistent days for me to be actually serious and make progress

1. Once I start, I don't stop until I eventually binge.

Honestly for me it's a lot longer. Like a month or 2. My phases are really long usually. I just came out of a longgggg binging phase and now I'm obese and feel like shit.

So funny that everyone says 3 because it is 3 days for me as well. Day 1 and 2 are a struggle, but after day 3 it's just habit

I would say a few weeks. I know I’m locked in when I total up my overeating days (where I usually say fuck it and don’t count calories until the end of the day) and they still come up at or under maintenance, and that happens a few times in a row :)

Honestly, 2. The first day is always the hardest day and once I can overcome that, everything gets so much easier

It is usually difficult for me to get past day 4 without a binge... so i think if i manage to get past this and reach day 5-6 or maybe a week i will feel commited
