b/p triggers are not due to food?

- watch mukbangs straight after eating
- use the fasting tracker app (start the timer/stop it)
- watch certain fitness you-tubers (i unsubbed)
- eat the same place i b/p at
- trying to sleep straight after showering
moral of the story, i changed my routine and i’ve managed to go 2-almost 3 days without b/p - which is shocking since i thought foods around me triggered me? (idk why i’m posting this it’s pretty weird news to me)

Yea i think this makes a lot of sense!
sometimes you're put in a situation or place that has lead to b/p before, and once you're in that place again your brain associates the environment with b/p due to repeated exposure and habit. i learned from my health class that you shouldn't use electronics while laying or sitting in bed because it teaches your brain that the bed is not a place to sleep but a place to be awake, which in turn reduces your sleep quality later on.
I feel like this is kind of the same idea, when you've connected a specific place or behavior to another behavior many times enough, it becomes second nature!
