is anyone else like this? i genuinely can’t eat a normal sized portion of ANYTHING anymore. it doesn’t fill me at all. for example if my mum buys me a sharing bag of crisps i HAVE to eat them all in one sitting. it’s making any chance of recovering i had, completely non existent. today i ate a whole 18” pizza in 20 minutes and didn’t feel full in the slightest??? i hate this. it’s weird because i’m so good at fasting but once i have one bite of food then it’s game over. i have to eat EVERYTHING

I've only started purging recently... I've taught myself to purge and I've noticed that the better I get at it, the more I binge.

Like normally I'd be restricting and I would only be tempted to binge once or twice a month, if at all.

But now it's every three days, it's just getting harder not to binge. :(

Yup, it happens. And it sucks. Another frustrating downside of bulimia. Stomach stretches so much that eventually we can eat an elephant not feel full.

I am the exact same way! Now I try to hold off eating as long as possible during the day because once I start I can't stop. Its like if I don't eat until 2pm that's at least 1,000 calories I avoided right there by not starting the massive eating when I wake up.

If i’m b/p I can eat alot but if I have to keep a meal down I can really only do liquid, or soft food

i think it just takes longer time (not more food) for us to feel full. Like if you keep the food down for more than 30 minutes, you start to feel the fullness.

It's definitely possible to recover.

That makes a lot of sense. I think you might be onto something. I'm going to try paying attention to that next time I keep food in.

I don't even know what a "normal portion" is anymore... I'm too scared to eat anything else than some watermelon or apples... Actual meals is too scary and I will purge it... Also I don't really have any hunger cues anymore so I never feel hungry...
