What do you allow yourself to have? Or what are just some things that makes your body shut up so you can sleep lol

I distract, look at pictures or videos of ppl eating, read, write.
Have tea or suck on a lemon.
Smoke a cigarette but sometimes that makes me hungrier.
Or just enjoy the pain.

I always find that brushing my teeth really helps - likelihood is you've already brushed them, but the minty taste helps suppress my appetite and brain always associates brushing my teeth with not eating anything else, so fools me into not feeling hungry!

I find I just can’t sleep on a totally empty stomach. I’ll usually eat something high in protein low fat, low sugar. A few tbsp of PB and me with a plain rice cake or a sliced apple will help me feel like I’m satisfied and can fall asleep. Herbal tea, lots of herbal tea. BUT, be prepared to wake up to use the bathroom at least once or more that night.

If I’m craving sweet? Sugar free jello cup (10 cals)
If I’m craving savory/salty? Miso soup (~30 cals)
Also, mint tea always feels good in my tummy.

Watching videos of people eating, warm water and heat. Heat pack, heater, blankets, everything.

I usually workout cus for some reason it makes me loose my appetite while also tiring me out.

I usually grab myself a cup of water or I start watching mukbang videos.

 

If that doesn't stop the cravings I usually have 1 or 2 salty crackers or I just brush my teeth. My teeth feel to clean so I don't want to brush them again.

I drink a lot of green tea and read. But usually i just don't sleep and play games or draw. Bc it's a lot better to stay awake and do that you like than vaintly trying to fall asleep.
